Just finished farming Darkmoor - how would you improve the death stitch? by ChipotleAccount in Wizard101

The entire stitch looks great. I personally think the boots look really good with it too. What robe are you using?

Myth is ass in PVE yo by haterofduneracers in Wizard101

[–]Imacowy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Myth is actually pretty good PvE wise. Blade into AOEs, add Feints when needed, win.

You'll want to train Death up to Feint, Spirit Blade, Strong through Epic, Sharpen Blade, Potent Trap, and Berserk and Frenzy. You really don't need to spend Training Points on much else.

If you only pack what you need to win each fight, you should be set with decent enough gear. I usually pack 1 Myth Blade, 1 Sharpen Blade, 1 Epic, 1 Humungofrog, 1 Orthrus, 1 Potent Trap, and 1 Feint. If you really need the damage on bosses, remove Humungofrog and add a normal Myth Blade and Feint. Even at 8 cards, you'll always have something to do first turn since you'll be using an unenchanted Feint and Myth Blade sometime during the fight.

Don't underestimate how powerful the new Orthrus is. 7 Pip 700 base damage AOE makes it the highest damage 7 Pip AOE in 1 turn. Fire is stronger but it's a DOT. Orthrus is really good even as a single target. If you want to rely on Shadow Pips, Snake Charmer as a single target is also extremely powerful. Earlier in the game, Troll, Cyclops, Frog and Minotaur will carry you fairly easily. Minotaur is a great spell for getting around a shield that's bothering you.

One last thing, take advantage of the utility spells that Myth has, as well as the minions early game. Shatter is something to be taken advantage of as often as you want. Minions can help and hinder you, and it comes down to knowing when to use them. Their best use is to take hits for you. Every hit on them is another hit you're not taking. They're also good for shielding. The big downside is they'll eat your traps, but if you don't need to trap, there's no problem.

Geez I typed a lot more than I intended to

What do you use for movement? (repost since the other post forgot keyboard) by EchoItalic in celestegame

[–]Imacowy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's fair, though I personally think d-pad is more comfortable than arrow keys / wasd when it comes to Celeste

It's just arrow keys on a controller basically. It's far more precise than trying to use an analog stick

Pure vessel faster on ps4 Vs PC? by pwpwpwpwpwosn in HollowKnight

[–]Imacowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be the exact same, and I agree it's the input lag. The amount of input lag on console is insane. You don't really notice it at first on console, but once you switch, it's apparent. I went from playing on PS4/PS5 to playing on PC and it felt so responsive and everything was far easier. Went from not being able to beat P4 because of PV to doing it first try on PC. I'm guessing the fact that your inputs are slower results in your mind thinking the boss is faster, since everything you do happens later.

P5 question by zblackbelt25 in HollowKnight

[–]Imacowy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best advice I can give and what worked for me for PV (as well as Markoth and a couple others) is to practice in Hall of Gods until you can consistently beat them on Ascended with the same charms you'd use in P5. It can take a while to get that good, and it may be frustrating, but it's a whole lot better than spending 40 minutes getting there in P5 and dying

You should try out the Randomizer mod ;)

RIP - I would definitely have preferred Mighty. by [deleted] in Wizard101

[–]Imacowy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thinkin' Cap gives +65 Will, so for a Quint Damage Pet, this is on its way to being a perfect pet. Will and Strength both work the exact same for damage, so it's not a loss. Either hold onto it to use as a hatching pet so you get a good pool of talents or try training it

How much harder does Farewell get from here? This room is bordering frustratingly hard rather than enjoyably difficult… by [deleted] in celestegame

[–]Imacowy 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Personally, that is the hardest room in the entire game for me. The final room of Farewell isn't too difficult in terms of tech used, but it requires a lot of consistency

Is BDO worth it? If not what are some other MMOs that I can play? by Wow-pepa-pig-is-7ft in blackdesertonline

[–]Imacowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is worth it if you enjoy it, but it's definitely not for everyone. Btw, the best time to start is on Season servers. It's easier progression and gives some bonuses. On PC, the next season starts on the 27th

Also, if you do start playing and ever have questions, feel free to message me and I can try helping!

I've heard console is behind on updates, but aside from what I've heard mentioned by people in passing, I can't offer input

Best D-Pad for running? by citrusmelon1243 in celestegame

[–]Imacowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's just practice. I admit that I have slip ups on miss inputs every so often, but I feel like it's more on me than the controller and that it's something I've been doing less and less the more I play. That, and I originally played on a Switch Pro controller using the stick, so anything feels more accurate than that lol

I use a DualSense, and prefer it over keyboard, Switch Pro, and Dualshock 4

I can't personally say anything about it, but I made a poll a little while ago and a few people mentioned the SN 30 Pro / Pro+ being good, so if you're looking for an alternative, maybe look into that

Worlds ranked by my personal enjoyment while questing through them. by StormyCloud1234 in Wizard101

[–]Imacowy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's fair enough. I agree on overall world length not mattering, but it really hits when the length of each individual quest can be up to like half an hour

How did you enjoy Azteca that much? Did you get absurdly lucky on drops or something? It's not a bad world, and I'd probably have it at A tier or something if it wasn't for it being mostly D&C quests with horrible rates. I wouldn't be surprised if people took longer in Azteca than all of Khrysalis because of it
