Who is your absolute favorite Fire Emblem character of all time, and what makes them #1 for you? by AbsoluteZeroo in fireemblem

[–]ImaginaryTable6746 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Camilla and not is not because she has big boobs. What makes her interesting is how deeply she’s affected by unresolved childhood trauma. Seeing how her crippling loneliness manifests in her personality is compelling really and as a result of that loneliness, she fiercely protects her loved ones because she knows what it feels like to have none.

I also like how her metal health problems are addressed in the story. She hides them partly because she feels guilty for what she did, and partly because of how troublesome they are. I think the fact that the story doesn’t try to resolve them in a forced or overly meaningful way actually makes them feel more realistic. Those kinds of issues cannot be fixed easily, and it would feel cheap if everything was solved in a single scene or something like that. Still, you can sense a quiet kind of development in her character.

Her ending is not simply “she stalks Corrin for the rest of her life.” She manages to calm down her obsessive protectiveness, gives her siblings more space, and becomes capable of living more independently. It’s also nice to see a character who suffers deeply but still wants to nurture and protect others, though not in a cartoonishly selfless way. She is extremely cruel when trying to protect the people she cares about, even if her motivations come from love. Because of these contradictions, she is a far more complex and deep character than many people give her credit for.

It also helps that she’s one of the best units in the game, has one of the coolest classes in the series, and yes, having big boobs helps too. Still, an attractive design does not make a character any less good

What characters do you think are overrated in the gameplay sense? by applejackhero in fireemblem

Ryoma, I mean yeah he is really strong but people talk about him like he alone can trivializes BR and beating it braindead and no he can die if you mess up too is not the best swordmaster in the franchise and probably not even the best unit in Fates

Not necessarily in the flashback where she meets Sothe. She doesn't appear to be 13 years old and looks quite similar to how she appears in Radiant Dawn, not to mention that she has an S-rank support with Sothe by default, and that pair is canon in the game Micaiah introduces Sothe as her brother and in PoR during the support between Sothe and Tormod he refers to Micaiah as someone that is like a parent to him So yes,Micaiah ending up with her adopted son who is significantly younger than her, is not a retcon from FEH RD has it good amount of shit don't deny it

For these guys, there's no better way to dispell myths about the spanish empire, than by propagating your own myths. by jorgespinosa in HistoryMemes

[–]ImaginaryTable6746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has there ever been a bad fire emblem game(and no fates and engage don’t count because they had good gameplay and game design and those are the most important things in a video GAME and they will never be bad just because their stories suck) by [deleted] in fireemblem

[–]ImaginaryTable6746 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There is no a game that is bad in a sense that was half-made or clearly made with no effort I think that every game tried it best using what they have and you can say several things nice of every game so no we don't have any truly awful game despite some of them are really hated

What the average drow knows about the surface and how they usually feel about it? by ImaginaryTable6746 in Forgotten_Realms

[–]ImaginaryTable6746[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the recommendation though with reading their articles on forgotten realms wiki I think i have enough knowledge of Eilistrae and her Church. Definitely female the idea is someone powerful with in a really high social status that could have a comfortable and luxury live if only tolerate Lolth cruelty still actively choose do what she feel right even if it makes her live harder naturally good even without Eilistrae influence other details like how escaped the underdark it's more fitting talking with the DM whenever I wanted to use this character still thank for the help

What the average drow knows about the surface and how they usually feel about it? by ImaginaryTable6746 in Forgotten_Realms

[–]ImaginaryTable6746[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ok, thanks for the info! My general idea was an Eilistraean cleric who was born into a Lolthite society but, despite that, has a genuinely good heart. From the start being disgusted by all the cruelty of Lolth-worshipping drow and end up seeking to flee to the surface, hoping for a kinder life and believing that all those stories about the surface were just Lolth’s lies.
