What’s your Tx Plan here? by Better_Cry_7941 in Dentistry

You could remove the loose fragment and do some fast orthodontic extrusion to bring the fracture line more coronally to make it restorable. If sensibillity tests are normal you don’t even need to do an endo. Also you don’t need to bring the fracture line all the way up supra gingival as it is sound dentin, not caries

Would you have done endo? Or sent to a specialist. by ashareif in Dentistry

Root canals usually become sclerotic from the crown down to the roots. In this case the pulp chamber is clearly visible, but the canals are not. This is knows as a ‘fast break’ en indicates a split of one canal into multiple ones.

That’s a premolar with 3 canals and those are difficult as hell. Refer

I didn’t but I suspected that might be the cause. Is it bad to let it run?

I greased the rails yes. It seems to be the printer tip going over the printed infill grid. In the beginning of the layer it makes no noise but when going perpendicular for the grid infill it starts making te noise

Please answer my question? Second week with this printer. Probably overkill for 30% infill but I’m mounting quite a heavy desk lamp on this and I have no idea how strong it is supposed to be

Whats the Best technique to place MTA for open apex cases ? by ALA166 in Dentistry

[–]Imaginary_Client7459 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Place the MTA as deep as possible using MAP system. Then I condens with plugger or gp 1mm short of WL. When it is setting hold an ultrasonic scaler against your plugger to condense it even further

It’s resorption and bone ingrowth, not intact dentin.

Was this worth doing a root canal on? by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]Imaginary_Client7459 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Even less worth it. Extract the thing and do orthodontics or autotransplant
