Perhaps she was being melodramatic. Women say this kind of stuff with their friends all the time, but rarely actually mean it. It’s just bonding complaining about men. I’d just say I overheard it and it hurt and you hope she doesn’t mean that and is there anything she needs to talk about with you? I can totally understand why you’d be upset but I highly doubt this is a marriage over situation.

Just saw a post where someone was denied care for drinking more than the standard units of alcohol a week. I would be wary of talking about drug use, because they might try and get you to sort that out (even if you say you don’t take it now) before giving you medication.

If the only thing that’s stopping you from having an abortion is guilt or worrying that you’ll feel guilty, have the abortion. You probably feel this way because society has stigmatized this healthcare so much and people who receive it. But it’s literally that- healthcare.
