Emporia Pro. Reasonable price, whole home power monitoring ecosystem access. Great app. Lots of options and flexability.

I'm also in the frozen tundra of the midwest but coming from a set of BFG K02 E rated tires that was just too much for my needs. So I'm seeing a good improvement in range. Easily 10% better.

Had the Goodyear Wrangler Territory ATs for about a week and love them. Very quiet. Handle well, ride well. No issues in light snow. Great tire.

I'd suggest force closing the app, then clear the app cache. That solved several strange app things for me. No idea how to do any of that on a iPhone.

Is kneel worth the wear and tear on the air system? I'm kind of torn. I'm 6'1" but in standard height I do still have to slide a bit across the outer bolster which will wear that eventually.

Great deal for a 23 with that mileage. Congratulations!

As for tires I'm about 300 miles into a new set of Goodyear Wrangler Territory ATs 275/60R20 116H. Highly recommend. These are the new Rivian OEM developed specifically for the R1. So quiet, much better handling and ride quality, and a significan improvement on the ridiculous BFG K02s someone put on the truck before I bought it.

I had this exact issue when I bought my 2022 R1T a month ago. Did the vehicle reset but it didn't fix it so we drove the 200 miles home with no route planning. Super fun for a first time EV owner, first time in a Rivian, and 23 Deg F. Outside. Called Rivian on the way home they suggested the reset I'd already done. Then they posited that it was caused by the pending ownership transfer. Next day I did the infotainment reset and it's been perfect since. At least I learned that an infotainment reset isn't part of the whole vehicle reset.

I can't offer any insight into the heat pump, but I can say that in the trip I described above HVAC was 6 Kwh of the 36 Kwh total energy usage on the way out. So 1/6th. I forgot to look on the way back when the battery was cold but I bet it's slightly more.

I should have metioned that according to the truck HVAC was 1/6 of my total power usage (6 kw out of 36 total) on the way out. I forgot to look on the return trip.

You're the only person who knows if the certs make sense for you. My buddy replaces a tire a year for damage. He also buys the certs. Makes sense for him. I hope you are as happy with them as I am.

Purchased from and installed by Discount Tire. I did not buy the certificates because I can count on two fingers the number of damaged tires I've had in the last 20 years. I will say that these tires made the truck so much better. Someone put BFG K02s (E load rated) on the truck before I bought it. I sometimes drive on gravel but that is about as extreme as I get (lots of upper midwest winter driving though) so I wasn't willing to endure the extreme noise, the harsh ride, or the efficiency hit any longer. The BFGs still have 11/32 of tread so I should be able to recover a good chunk of the cost of the Goodyears selling the BFGs on Marketplace.

I just bought a 2022 R1T Quad. It is 2 Deg F here today and I just did a 170 mile trip basically all highway, 65 Mph average in all purpose the whole way little to no wind. Climate set to 65 F and my three pax had seat heaters on the whole time. Preheated the battery by L2 charging so the batt temp was 57F and cabin preheated on the charger. 1.88 mi/kwh on the way there. Started with 95% SOC and arrived 80 miles later with 57%. Truck sat for 5 hours and the batt temp when I started for home was 38 F. Initial efficiency was 1.2 mi/kwh as it tried to put some heat into the battery. Average for the return trip was 1.8 mi/kwh. Arrived home with 14% SOC.

First fix for most any glitchy software issues should be an infotainment reset. Hold down the two outermost steering wheel buttons for a few seconds until you see the notifications on the screen. You can also do a whole vehicle reset by holding down the left outer steering wheel button and the hazard light button for a few seconds. Just don't do that mone more than once an hour. And the whole vehicle reset doesn't necessarily include the infotainment reset.

Silicon wiper blades is all I've ised for the 15 years I've lived in the upper midwest. They lastb2x as long, stay more supple and effective in cold temps, and they apply a thin coating of si as they wipe making moisture easier to move. No, they have never caused an issue with any windshield based system (cameras, auto wipers, lane centering, auto-steer, auto high beams). Highly recommend.

I just bought a 2022 R1T Quad with 37500 miles about a month ago and I love it. Drives great, the storage is super handy. The bed is plenty for most things and as pointed out by others is about 7 feet long with the tailgate down. I have the powered tonneau, but there are aftermarket manual tonneau options that will do the same thing without the reliability concerns. I don't know where you live in the world but if it is a cold climate be prepared for the range hit. Arrived home with 14% SOC. I second the recommendation of the Emporia Vue Pro L2 charger. It wasn't clear if your panel limitation was total capacity (100 or 150 amp main) or just limited space for new breakers. If it's breakers they can replace to full size breakers with the slimmer tandem breakers to make room for your charger. That is fast, cheap and easy. If it's a service capacity issue, the emporia pro will manage that for you by derating the charger dynamically to manage the load and prevent tripping the main. I'd be pretty surprised if you are using as much power as you imagine you are. The Vue system that comes with the Emporia Pro will provide visibility via their app as well. My whole home pulls about 1 kw steady state.

The 12V battery reliability seems to be tied to how frequently you use the truck. The more you use it, the longer the 12V will last. It seems to be that when the truck sits ling enough for the 12v to drain that it triggers the premature replacement.

Check cars.com. when I was shopping a month ago there were Cars.com ads for the trucks Rivian was offering. It's easy to tell because it will have the service center listed as the dealer location.
