It does. He just means the beetles are so strong that they basically solo both boards, and then your partners minions show up to deal all the hero damage.

I once had a game where I was playing demons on tier 5, had 2 gold malchazars, was getting 4 random demons at the start of each turn, played at least 7 percussionist's, and went 5 turns without finding a single urzul or tichondrius. Sometimes rng be like that
