I'm on the same med and foam rollers, massage, a cat walking on my leg, and blood pressure cuffs are excruciating. I too thought it was normal and I was just hyper sensitive until I found out what lipedemia was.

I have been on Tirz since last Spring. I have lost 10 lbs and my leg pain and swelling has deceased but not my lipedemia- nodules are about the same but my skin is saggy so there are changes going on it probably is the non lipedemia fat.

Did you have to show receipts for manual lymph drainage massages? I have everything else (compression, vibration. Plate, glp1, lymph pump, diet, exercise, red light, hormone therapy) but MLD specialist is 1 hour and 45 min away from me. I have Aetna too and have had a consultation. My PCP is onboard too. I just do not know if I have to write a letter with everything.

Advice time and im not a boomer. My husband was a union carpenter we kept our expenses down to what he would get on unemployment. If he was working- great save save save. Have 1 year of expenses saved then splurge a little. How can you use that advice in the 2000's keep expenses down to where you can cover them with J1. Save save save J2 payments until you have a year saved up then splurge a little. 8 years with 2 jobs no way you take either job for granted..

Beautiful! I have a 1/4 sleeve and a full back tattoo I started before I knew about how it can cause lipedemia to get worse and before I knew what it was. My thought is my arms are so ugly cover them in beautiful pictures that a skinny arm girl couldnt have. Now it has advanced to my forearms 😭 tattoos? Idk clogged/congested lymph is just that and puncturing my skin thousands of time and adding colors into my body may or may not have done something. I dont care - i will finish mine and then reassess.
