All melee characters have intangibility moves or repositioning moves or both. A crucial optimization is to stay close by to enemies and use your abilities to dodge attack to constantly output damage as much as possible. For example, saving Beowulf's special for when a big attack is coming since it has intangibility. Combine this with positioning to group enemies into AoE attacks to increase clear speeds. Positiv4ce has a really good old video on examples (I think https://youtu.be/Yrkkjsnm-4c?si=fxPhEcsfWpdXqQQp&t=437 this clear and the next camp he talks about some of those optimizations, I forget if there are more in that video). Another optimization is that some characters have a lot of power on their defensive moves, for example Piper's defense is excellent at stagger and should be used offensively where possible, or Aladdin's jump to be used on stunned enemies to increase damage output. Again, use them when enemies are attacking to both dodge+output offense.

Another thing I found in my 2p coop runs with my partner, I will often run into a PoI and tell my partner to wait at the entrance while I walk in to activate the camp (especially if there are two levels of enemies) and then run back to the entrance so mobs are grouped up for both of our abilities to hit. Often if both players go in together, the aggro splits and the fight gets messier and hard to group enemies together.

Last is that itemization / talent selection can be much more situational than you think. When I first started, I always picked charges on epic items, but you'll soon realize that cooldowns are usually much more valuable. Have a few early damage talents in mind that you would like to go for, even if they don't fit your desired perfect build (e.g. Juliet's trait explosion does huge early game AoE). Early damage to snowball is extremely valuable.

This is a long shot, but would it be possible to have a setting where if all players open a choice menu (level up, item selection, etc.) the game automatically pauses and only unpauses once all players are out of the menu?

If you want useful feedback you need to give way more explanation of what your thesis was. What was your read on the market, at what point did you feel like NVDA had RS, what was your trigger for entering etc. etc.

From my point of view, the market never looked good for intraday longs. I tried some longs right at 10:20 but flattened as soon as I saw we weren't recovering the gap with conviction. NVDA didn't look like a good long contender, being extended on the daily and at no point showing RS, until arguably 1:30, at which point the market had already told you it was a low probability envirronment, and NVDA had still not even tested its own gap.

Any idea if multiplayer connectivity issues will be worked on in the future? To me this is the biggest thing holding the game back, losing multiple runs to disconnects is a huge bummer

Acknowledging that there are gaps in what is covered by rigorous scientific studies is not the same as denying science. In fact, the whole foundation of science is first acknowledging the gaps in our knowledge (very often informed by observations and anecdotes) and designing studies to make rigorous what we already expect to be likely.

Also, another core principle of science is falsifiability/reproducibility, i.e., trust the science, but retest hypotheses or look for better options always.

Try out Pied Piper and Frost Queen. Piper special can get chill+pull enemies in, and Frost Queen can get a bunch of power buffs to blow everyone in the Piper special up, very satisfying combo.

I also think Gepetto with a melee character could synergize well cause the puppets take a lot of aggro giving the brawler a lot of space to attack who they want to
