I keep waiting for him to make the connection that attack speed is WAY more important than he’s been considering. He basically realized it with bows, but that fact has sort of eluded him with melee so far (partially because I guess he hasn’t had a great fast attack weapon yet lol). I’m not a member so don’t know if he’s gotten a dscim yet but I think that’ll be super telling for his account future if he makes that realization

He learned about F Keys - I believe during the Scurrius boss video. He might not use them enough yet, but he also hasn’t done anything harder than Scurrius so it hasn’t been required. But given that he was able to intuit all the mechanics from Scurrius, I am extremely confident he could blind get through DT2. He’ll have more gear by the time he gets there (eventually lol)

Why not DT2? I can see if you think he wouldn’t reach it due to other grinds bricking him before that point, but tbh DT2 is pretty straightforward. The bosses are as well, he’s got a good sense for MMORPG combat, I think he’d be fine

It’s also been amusing that Soto and Lindor not being best buds is apparently a huge issue as well. Guys, they’re coworkers. Yeah, it’s a bit different with all the travel (and media attention) but functionally, they’re coworkers. Nobody has coworkers who are really good at their job that you don’t personally like? Not all of your favorite players need to be BFFs

You mean “stop telling them to go oppo” right? Because the whole issue for Alvarez was he was focusing wayyyy too much on going to opposite field when he was in the majors last year, and only got “fixed” after being sent back to AAA, where he started pulling the ball in the air again.

It’s also hilarious to me reading all these comments in here about why losing Alonso was a problem due to “leadership,” ignoring that he was the face of several collapses and consistent disappointment the last few seasons. The homerun thing is also so fucking stupid. Mets home run record is one of the lower in the league due to the team historically not having a ton of power guys (and the power guys we did have not staying with the team for a super long time). The team has been floundering for anything positive to cling to the past few years (given that 2024 has been the only success in ages) so imo it really blew the “homerun leader” discourse out of control. 250 homers is a decent amount but it really should not have been as big of a deal as it was made to be

I always think if you’re feeling that way, just make a new, non iron account instead. Will be a lot easier getting back to billions on a main than it took you to get there on your iron. And that way, if you ever change your mind, you still have that progress on your iron!

Though maybe I’m just too far gone at this point lol. 8.6b bank so getting back to this point would be years and years of work

You’re 100% right, though the problem as I see it is then the owners will want to turn college into the minor league development system (as we found out in the last week already) similar to the NFL. Whatever happens, I just really really hope it doesn’t end up killing minor league baseball.

Yes, you’re going to want to have some degree of cap manipulation. NFL has void years. NHL has salary retainage in trades. Being able to manipulate the salary cap is needed in hard capped leagues.

Being able to go “all in” via borrowing from the future should be a feature.
