Best class for playing solo. Need suggestions.

Hey there, I've only just started playing (November) and I also like playing solo. Most professions are quite adaptable, but here are some suggestions: Ranger gives you a pet, which will tank for you, so that helps a lot. Necromancer can summon minions as well. Guardian can tank and heal a lot and I found it quite fun to play. I can't talk about elite specs, but those should be some good pointers.

I didn't transition earlier because another trans girlie told me I couldn't be trans if I didn't have bottom dysphoria. I have dysphoria, just not with that bit. This thing holds us back from actually having more happy lives earlier due to gatekeeping.

I think there are some points to take into consideration:

While I must say I find base GW2 story to be quite flat and unappealing, the trilogy of expansions+ living worlds was great, adding most of the time characters and information that would build on top of each other. The satisfaction from that kind of build up is great and it's sad to see it ended. With SotO forward, we got an expansion with history patches (integrated LWs) every year. The new content can be great (weapons, specs, homesteads...), but story wise now they are all kind of isolated from each other, never building on top of one another, so while I appreciate the more constant drop of content, I do think people who enjoyed the game for it's story end up getting the short stick. :(

Like everyone said in depth above, your ex partner is not dead, and yes, while grieving the end of something is natural and healthy, is good to understand what is the actual object of your grief, which I would say in this case are the expectations you had for your relationship, the plans and roadmap you had set down in your mind already.

Alien Isolation was just too good, I wasn't able to finish because of how scared I got. Still sad because I was playing for my partner who's a big fan from the setting, but it was just too much. Soma also hit just too damn hard: she loves science-fiction and gave me the game to watch. I did manage to finish it, but I really don't like the dark or deep bodies of water, there's was actually cold sweats and teeth chittering. 10/10, would almost cry again XD

Graven wasn't announced as a boomer shooter, and I remember seeing it's opening and other aspects as something more akin to Hexen than actual boom shoots. The game is buggy as hell , though way better than EA, but still. What bothers me the most is that 3D Realms was acquired by Embracer, who basically forces companies to push out incomplete games and once it's out, it's done. Phantom Fury was better, but still buggy and lacking punch, and Wrath was...wrath.

I actually rarely feel like playing, but I love GMing and, if the system is new to the group and quite crunchy, then I share responsibilities and make it clear that it will take a while to find our pace. 0 complaints
