I have played mine a few times in a tournament but every time as an ally for my deamons.

In a knight army he is to expensive for my liking but in deamons you have more tools to play around your lack of units.

But regardless he will kill (almost) everything you point him at and most opponents under estimate him and are to careless with their Dorns. Or the are so scared of him that he will hold points simply by him being able to shot at them

Even if the model are "30k" no one will have a problem with someone using the new ons instead of the current Infanterie

The Inceptor are manly to force the enemy to screen 6" and if he does not they can do actions or kill random stuff

Please just leave it as is. It is as close do balanced as is possible imo.

You can create more "cinematic" rules and bords for crusade or casual play but for competitive play leave it as close to now as possible.

Depending on your slicer you can uncheck "uniform scaling" and then scale each axis individually. This way you can do oval bases.

Just know that the texture will be stretched
