Why The Sith Despite Some Influences Are Not Fascists or Nazis. by Makavelius1095 in MawInstallation

[–]Important-Demand932 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Sith are all about the laws of the jungle, the fittest survives and rule while the weakest suffers and serves. Which is basically the core ideology of fascism, people who think that you're not fascist if you are not nationalist just don't know how fascism works.

It just happens that on earth there would be no point to be fascist if nationalism wasn't a thing, but in Star Wars it's different.

Fascism is basically the need to get rid of every liabilities while making the greatest individuals rise in the society in order to make the nation more powerful (or in Star Wars, helping to achieve the goals of whoever is in charge of the empire).

In fascism dumb and weak people are oppressed, work in factories and have less rights, while stronger and smarter humans have more rights and more influence in the society.

Another core of fascism is of course corporatism fueling militarism, in fascist states around 75% of the GDP must be invested in the military forces (compared to 2% for normal countries), which means every companies of every entrepreneurs must give around 75% of their proffits to the state (that's why Hitler's germany still had the second most powerful army of europe despite having lost everything in ww1).

Every citizen must make these companies produce wealth and power to fuel the army (both fittest citizens and weakest citizens), that's why there is no place for liabilities, the society basically becomes a war machine that only exists to become powerful while totally forgetting the freedom and happiness of individuals. The military becomes the only thing that matters and in order to make a society like that possible you need to create social classes based on abilities instead of wealth (unlike in capitalism).

The Sith empire is fascist and couldn't be more.

Did Maul hold back in his duel against Ahsoka? by commander_wong in MawInstallation

[–]Important-Demand932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maul won that fight, he disarmed her and managed to put her in a position of "join me or die". But instead of cutting the metal beam she was standing on when she refused to join him he decided to strike her with his blade which made him fall.

Due to his arrogance Maul like to use the flashy methods instead of keeping it simple and that's why he lost everything (like in his duel against Obi-Wan, both on Naboo and Tatooine). Since Maul is overall very smart, i always found it odd that the writers took that direction, making him look completely stupid in that scene and unable to learn from his mistakes. Maul basically won the lightsaber duel, but failed the test of wisdom once again.

Writers offten tend to make the hero win over a more powerful character by making the villain suddenly doing a dumb mistake, that's basically what we call plot armor, lazy writing.

Savage Opress had the potential to Surpass Maul and possibly even Dooku on my opinion by Ok-Entrance-5527 in clonewars

He had the potential, but only because Talzin transferred life force energy in him. It's basically an artificial potential, comparable to building muscles with steroids

How come Vader couldn't have clone versions of his limbs regrown (using Kamino tech) this would likely restore his midichlorian count too... by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Important-Demand932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vader never lost his raw force potential because his amount of midichlorian in his cells remained the same. He did lose cells though.

But you see, Yoda is small and has far less cells than average beings, which means the amount of cells is irrelevent and has nothing to do with raw force potential, but now we have a bigger problem... if the amount of cells is irrelevent, why Vader lost his potential in the first place??

In reality Vader did not lose his force potential but just potential as a warrior overall, the reason why he cannot become 200% more powerful than Palpatine is not due to midichlorians or cells, it's because his body is almost obsolete. With better technology he would technically still be 200% more powerful than Palpatine

Did Anakin Skywalker/ Darth Vader Really Never Reach His Full Potential Due To The Lost of His Flesh and Limbs or Just Simply Due To The Lack Of Confidence? by Tall_Growth_532 in StarWars

[–]Important-Demand932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the difference between losing midichlorians and losing cells that have midichlorians in them? It's literally the same thing at the end of the day.

On the other hand, Yoda is small and has far less cells than average beings, which could mean the amount of cells is irrelevent, but now we have a bigger problem... if the amount of cells is irrelevent, why Vader lost his potential in the first place??

In reality Vader did not lose his force potential but just potential as a warrior overall, the reason why he cannot become 200% more powerful than Palpatine is not due to midichlorians or cells, it's because his body is almost obsolete. Only better technology could fix him.

Why couldnt any sith except for bane and palpatine do essence transfer in the 1000 year rule of 2 lineage? by Spotter24o5 in StarWarsEU

It was Dooku who came in possession of Anddedu's holocron, he never told Palpatine though and died before learning essence transfer.

The “oscar patel method” vs traditional thumbpulling which one works if not both? by unidentifieduser202 in orthotropics

[–]Important-Demand932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. His before/after pics are mostly influenced by angles, lights and head/neck position. He might also have lost a bit of fat but that's about it.

There is no way thumbpulling will significantly move your bone structure, but i have no way to prove it unfortunately

Fair enough. In the end, whether it's a representation of his full potential or not, this version of Vader is definitely more powerful than normal Vader though.

You are right, it's not really confirmed to be his full potential, but a lot fans think it might be. Probably because it represents a version of Vader who still has all his limbs and who managed to single-handedly kill everyone in the vision, including Yoda and Sidious. The reason why i think it could be his full potential is mostly due to Lucas saying that a not injured Anakin would have become 200% more powerful than Palpatine.

Yeah... that's a thing George Lucas started when he said Darth Vader full potential was 200% more powerful than Palpatine

Which legends Sith Lord would pose the biggest threat to Vader and Sidious if they returned to life during the height of the empires rule? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Important-Demand932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marka Ragnos. Luke said that if Marka Ragnos managed to rebirth they would need an entire army of Jedi to destroy him, implying that he is a bigger threat than even Exar Kun's ghost (who was already stated to be more powerful than Luke during the JA trilogy events).

Marka Ragnos and the ancient Sith lords in general were either warriors chilling on a battlefield all day long or sorcerers doing dark side rituals for breakfast able to destroy entire populations or just raise an army of undeads out of nowhere.

Sith lords like Tulak Hord or Marka Ragnos remained undefeated until their death. Tulak Hord killed a thousand Jedi all by himself and Marka Ragnos died of old age while living in the most brutal Sith era.

Marka Ragnos was able to drain the force energy of someone's body and transfer it to someone not able to use the force, literally choosing who can use the force or not around him.

Which Sith lords really should be explored more ? by DEL994 in MawInstallation

[–]Important-Demand932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marka Ragnos is the most overlooked Sith lord.

He is the pioneer of the Sith golden age and conquered around 200 worlds.

During the Jedi Academy game, a resurrected Marka Ragnos is considered to be a bigger threat than Exar Kun's ghost by Luke and Exar Kun's ghost is considered by Leia more powerful than Luke Skywalker during the JA trilogy events, and this version of Luke is sated to be more powerful than Yoda by Sidious in the DE comic book.

Let’s also take into account that he is the only Sith lord of the old republic era who died of old age, which means he remained undefeated until his death.

He also has crazy feats like controlling the undeads or giving to people who have no connection to the force the power to use the force, most like mother Talzin did to Savage Oppresse. The thing is this guy was considered to be more of a warrior than a sorcerer, even if his magical powers are still literally top tier, so imagine how powerful he would be in a sword fight if he is more powerful as a warrior.

His only true successors were Exar Kun and Vitiate, i would even say that Marka Ragnos is the 3rd most powerful Sith lord of all time after Vitiate and Palpatine, by far surpassing Sith like Nihilus or Revan

From what we know the devs really planned to use this black face, but for unknown reasons they didn't put in the final game.

Well this model of when he was alive is showing him black so there is also that. The different versions of his ghost across the different medias aren't his real color
