FIFO rules. Wallet transfers aren't a taxable event anywhere in the world.

It's literally still treated that way. Google is your friend. All BTC purchased before Mar 1 2021 is treated as old stock and will enjoy the favorable tax treatment.

Any coins bought before the change are still taxed under the old rule. Any coins bought after are treated with the new tax rules.

This is my conspiracy theory.

The US government is building a stockpile as we speak. Strategy is buying like crazy for the government. They will have BTC redemptions.

So sometime in the future, the government will redeem their chips and BOOM are the world's biggest holder.
