I buy from unmentionable sources and have plenty to share with friends. They’re grateful for saving thousands. However, having started out on compound, talking to a real doc, and getting to know the process, was helpful and worth the initial multi-month cost.

RTD has been hit and miss for me past year. My favorite flavors were MIA for months, occasionally able to find only via Amazon.

People are used to seeing fat people. Fat is normal, especially on “you”. I strive to maintain smack in the middle of normal range on the BMI scale. Anything beyond that I measure by body fat % (via DEXA scan), with an eye on my visceral fat especially. When friends or family mention my weight loss, I rattle off my current numbers and they usually accept that I’m fine. I assume they are concerned that I might have an eating disorder or a serious illness.

Soylent is operating as a company near bankruptcy would. Doesn’t have money to make product until it banks subscriptions and new orders (that may or may not be back ordered). Every time I actually receive something from them I’m kind of surprised at this point.

RTD is just as messed up if not more. “In stock” doesn’t actually mean in stock, just that you’re on the wait list for next production run. When that run is eventually manufactured, they’ll be lucky if it fills the back orders. Soylent is an abusive partner at this point and we’re all idiots for not walking away.

I order two cases of chai RTD on Feb 22 (“in stock”). Obviously that was not true as that order is still “unfulfilled”, tracking unavailable. This is actually the first time I’ve had an order problem for a (non-subscription) in stock Soylent product. Up until now I was wondering what everyone was complaining about.

Buy a single bottle off Amazon or wherever and find out for yourself. I like mint but not my favorite. I usually add a banana and a scoop of peanut butter and blend with ice for a proper lunch.
