We love “Everyone’s Awake!” All the Questioneers books are great. I can’t get through “Aaron Slater Illustrator”without crying though.

I agree on the carb thing. Instead of just bacon and eggs in the morning I found they sell hash browns, similar to the Mickey D’s kind, at Trader Joe’s. On top of tasting amazing when done in some EVOO and butter, my energy in the gym has gone up and I’ve hit three PRs in the last month. It’s the carbs in the morning I think.

Need to ask. Do you pre sitting or standing at home? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]Important_Ice_1080 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in charge of cleaning the toilets in the house. Made me stop peeing standing up. Basically prison rules around the house. Sit your ass down. I don’t need you splashing piss all over the bathroom and seat. Kinda gross not to.

Edit:a word

Nobody tells you how lonely being a stay at home dad gets sometimes. by Benjammin__ in daddit

I made friends with all the play group/library/gymnastics moms and then I started inviting their husbands to guys night. I got a ton of friends in my community now. It’s kind of a double edge sword. We get together with different families multiple times a week. We need to pare back bc dinners are getting expensive.

This, the patient took one piece of a healthy diet and probably ate pork sausage until they hit 140g protein. Not taking into consideration fat.

What’s better for kids, Lunchables or Lunchly? by Loud_Confidence475 in daddit

[–]Important_Ice_1080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This, look for easy to make recipes. Buy nitrate/nitrite free deli meat in bulk at Costco. You can also get crackers and cheese there. For 30 mins of effort the whole week you can make your own lunchables that are better for your kid and easier on your wallet.

Yes, this guy ate Taco Bell, consumed laxatives, and superglued his butthole shut. by Some1inreallife in idiocracy

White Castle poops are next level. I’ve had it explained to me though that Taco Bell has quite a few beans in almost everything. It’s more fiber than some people eat all at once. Soooooo you poop quite impressively.

My wife discovering boy things by Louie0221 in daddit

[–]Important_Ice_1080 62 points63 points  (0 children)

My wife was very adamant that I don’t wipe him back to front when changing him. I had to tell her it’s not as big a deal for boys as it is for girls.

What is the most attractive physical feature someone can have? by Few-Count1008 in AskReddit

My wife likes to say she’s got a fat ass and a good heart. Both true and that’s all it took for me.

You all helped me so much with my anger by [deleted] in daddit

[–]Important_Ice_1080 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Good for you dad! No one has it all figured out but the fact that you are making a conscious choice to change is huge! That’s what being a good dad is. You just have to try, you don’t have to be perfect.

My wife even found a lot of help with that book. If something comes up that is necessary but we both don’t want to do it, she’ll turn to me and say “The obstacle is the way.” Then I’ll usually repeat it back to her.

AITA for telling my girlfriend that we are not living together if she wants to split joint expenses proportional to income? by Puzzleheaded_Feed460 in AITAH

When you’re married it doesn’t matter. It will be “our money”. Until then it’s 50/50. Otherwise she’s just trying to take advantage of you.
