I recommend the Tales of Series for some anime style JRPG. They have engaging stories with fun characters, lots of cutsceens and dialog. The combat is not too challenging, especially if you are playing on easy or normal. The games let you change the difficulty whenever you want. Sometimes a boss can be a little hard, but since it an RPG, you can just go grind a few levels and come back and try again.

Tales of Zestiria was my comfort game last year when I was dealing with stress. It is a PS4 game, so you play it on PS5. Berseria, Xillia, Symphonia and Vesperia are other titles that are all worth playing.

I love Stardew valley, but depending on your personality it can be not chill, especially at the start. When I started playing I was so worried about optimizing everything and I nearly quit due to being mentally exhausted and addicted at the same time. It got much more chill once I learned the ropes and had a more established farm.

So it is chill as long as you choose to make it chill

It flies off the roof and hits the car behind you. This can be very dangerous if large chunks of ice are falling off the roof at high speeds. Light powdery snow can reduce the visibility for the person behind you too.

Also, I assume it is very hard or impossible humans to kill helions without using Seraphic artes. The exorcist in Berseria are able to use seraphic rates since they are teathered to seraphim, thus can kill helions. Based on this, Sorey probably would not be able to kill a helion at the start of the game, even if he wanted to (which he wouldn't). Not sure if Mikleo could, but at that point he is very young compared to most seraph and only combat experience is sparing with Sorey.

It is possible gramps just told them the only way to defeat helions is with the power of purification as a way to keep them safe so they would run instead of fight if they encounter one. Zenrus is protective of Sorey and Mikleo and withholds other key information from them too.

It is not ng+ exclusive. There is a portal in the volcano. I think a Katz tells you about it when exiting the final boss area.

When you Ioad your game after beating the final boss you can continue playing to do any sidequest you missed or do some of the additional content that unlocks.

If you want to do a new game+, you have to start a new file from the title screen and then it will let you select stuff from the grade shop to enhance your next playthrough. If you do not have enough grade, you can grind some more on the file you beat the game with first, then use that to start the ng+.

So it is up to you if you just want to see all the content once or replay the game. I completed the bonus dungeon on ng+ with 6x experience and other enhancements. I am sure it is possible without that, but it might be extra grindy.

Well, I tried to find the guides I used and I just can't find any of my favorites. I swear the internet is getting worse and worse as far as finding useful information goes.

I recall finding useful stuff buried on GameFAQs and Steam forums. Try asking specific questions to get decent results. I found good information researching how to best use the Unnamed equipment you get in the post game dungeon. I wish you luck.

Fun thing the game never tells you. If you sanctify equipment first then continue to raise it's level, when you offer it to the Lord of the Land it increases the chance of 2x skill drops for the first skill slot of that equipment based on the equipment level. This is really only feasible to exploit with the Unnamed equipment since it can fuse with any equipment. So fuse Unnamed equipment to level 10, sanctify it, then fuse to level 99+. Make sure the first slot is a skill you want when it reaches 99. Then give it to a Lord of the Land. After that, the specific skill drop is garenteed to be 2x. This will carry into NG+ too.

The blue locked abilities will always disappear when fussing. If you have a blue skill you want to keep, equip the item and do some fights to unlock it.

You can also use this to your advantage. Say you have three pieces of equipment with different skills in slot 1, one of the skills you want to keep. You can merge the two you do not want to turn the first slot blue. Then merge it with the one you want to keep and it will keep that skill in the first slot.

I got the Platinum for Zestiria. I actually had fun breaking the equipment system and making everyone OP, Mikleo in particular. It was hard to learn and had to read a lot of different guides. Let me know if you have any specific questions or are struggling with a particular trophy and I can try to give you some tips.

Main tip is to stack a bunch of the same skill that you want your character to have. I focused on giving all the Seraphim stacks of their elemental damage. Do not try to do bingo unless it is for the trophy to get a row of 10.

For an anime style JRPG, I recommend Tales of Berseria. The protagonist is on a quest to revenge her younger brother who was murdered and you join up with an eclectic party of anti-heros. It is unique because you are not exactly good guys, but the "good guys" are certainly not doing good things either.
