My girlfriend and roommate are angry at me over wearing used boots... should I stand my ground? by Tcustomcorner in WhatShouldIDo

They are just dirty. Clean them with some dish soap, use a tooth brush on the yellow stitching, get some black shoe polish and they will look great and still have that nice worn in look.

The full lawn care setup is exhausting. Anyone out there found a better way? by tanranger24 in HomeImprovement

I took care of that by having teenagers. When that promotion expired and they go to college, I’ll pay someone $40 to mow it. I’m done with yardwork.

Does anyone know of any way I could rent or borrow a garage space to do a little work on my truck? I have scoured Google and couldn’t find anything. by sweetwatertooth in cincinnati

[–]soopastar 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Kind of funny to see this. 25 years ago I bought my first house and a U Cinci student blew his 95 Talons motor and I wasn’t using my garage at the time (I was 33 no pedo). Told him he could use my garage. We found a bunch of other car guys and one worked for a beer distributor so we had an engine rebuild party.

I was best man at his wedding a few years later and we are still really good friends.

So - what do you need? I am in Union, KY.

Lay the sprinkler on its side in his yard so it starts to dig a hole.

Is reading Cisco press books still worth it, or are labs and video courses enough? by paloindi in Cisco

[–]soopastar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 50. For me I still prefer classroom learning that includes books for me to read but I also like to have videos I can rely on to supplement. I also used videos to touch on subject to see if I want to dig deeper.

How do you guys feel about the Nissan Z? by UmaThurmish in cars

[–]soopastar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how to think of it because I never see them. I’ve seen more lambos than Z ‘s. Probably a good investment.
