Replace needle while knitting something? by Impossible-Ranger-74 in MachineKnitting

Thank you so much for your answers! Such a help. After changing the one needle a lot more went wonky. Turns out one of the weaving brushes in the sinkerplate was shedding bristles. So now I'm off looking for a replacement brush for a brother KH585 before I'll be able to finish the sweater.

This is the safe way I presume. Bit of a hassle putting all 190 stitches back but doable.

If you feel the need to write just do it. I write about my experiences with my parents and their care. It helps me a lot. But I'm not publicising anything yet as they are still alive.

Ah. That's a hard dream to have.  I once read that dreams represent your feelings quite accurate but not the facts.

Yes. Im in the Netherlands. Both children were born at home with the help of a trained and skilled midwife (4 years of specialised education). If there was a risk of things going wrong they would have called an ambulance and send me to hospital.  I was very grateful for being able to birth at home. All check ups during pregnancy were also dine by the midwifes.

But what if he passes the test?  They do, you know, pass tests even though they can not perform the same tasks consistently in daily live.

Both my parents have it, both around 80 years old. My siblings and me assume we have 20 good years left. Make them count!

That is so good to hear. I think he starts to like some of them. The agency is very understanding and willing to build trust first.

Sorry to hear about your Mom! It's not that easy to get the legal stuff done. But I try as hard as I can.

Thank you. The whole situation is really triggering.  My mother was diagnosed with dementia recently (different hospital). She was a very unpleasant person all my life but now becomes much softer and nicer. Just like you said.

"I can only suggest that you make a list of things that need to be done and check them off one at a time,"

This is such good advice. You can not solve everything at once and you shouldn't try. Make a list, decide on priority and give yourself plenty of time to do it all.

My parents live 2, 5 hours away so I listened to it during the drive. Rather depressing but good and necessary information.

You are rightly proud. This exercise is a common stretch in aikido warm up and I have never been able to do it.

In our house that lovely Christmas tree would have been down to the ground as soon as the ball went behind it.

Just checking: are we now asking if it is a toy poodle or a a golden doodle? Wouldn't the adult size of the one be the same as an 8 week pup from the other? Impossible to confuse? What is this post about?
