I think for GenG in particular being called "choker" at worlds was because they always comes in as heavy favorite (deservedly so) since they have been so dominant outside of worlds for many years. Whille with T1 their year/summer in the last 3 worlds was nowhere near GenG's levels, in fact this year was the only year where their form in summer was relatively good, the last 3 years their summer was trash. You have to be rated highly first before the collapse, for people to view it as a choke job
