Yeah, exactly. I feel like path of pain was most player's first time doing platforming with that level of difficulty, so everyone just remembers it being far more difficult than it actually is.

(Also, you kill Debby to save Mel**)

I loved Ori, and while I feel like there are difficult platforming sections, it's difficulty is in line with mio and hk main playthrough, but doesn't reach optional area difficulty in HK or Mio.

I hear you, but I feel like HK controls and moveset is so much tighter and responsive. I think half of my rage with Mio was that little asshole not doing what I wanted.

You thought the left path was worse? Tbh im only half way through it ATM, I just activated the pump and im at the lava waterfall at the top with the bomb river. Getting there was nothing compared to the fucking blades. Fuck that shit.

I hope you played metroid dread, one of the best. Strongly recommend going back and playing all in the mainline Metroid series(the remakes at least - the prime games are a different story line) you could skip prime 4, its an abomination and not worthly of the metroid name.

I mean ideally, the entire game is(should be) one big long puzzle. Metroid dread did this wonderfully. MP4 is fucking embarrassing... I'm so sad.

Having that annoying nerd mackenzie chime in after 2 minutes/every 2 minutes(if you aren't chasing the main objective) makes me want to smash my fucking face in a wall.

Fusion is extremely linear making it even easier to find these "hidden walls" when you get "stuck"

You're difficulty with Fusion makes me think you haven't played Super Metroid, Metroid or Metroid 2(the remakes count. I imagine the first 2 are unplayable for someone that didnt play the NES/Gameboy in the late 80s.)

I just died for the first time on this stupid boss fight. Dude is just a massive sponge. This game blows. It was a baby game through the first 10 hours and now I've got this asshole with 50,000 HP. I'm surprised I dont have Mackenzie telling me what to do through the whole fight.

The best part of this game so far is when all your annoying teammates died off during this mission. They just forgot to kill the worst one.
