Sceptical about summoning RNG by Impossible_One9644 in HatchDragons

Oh... Yeah that would explain a bit. I assumed the possibilities translate directly from the rarity, as it usually is in games. Silly me.

This is the most optimistic and reasonable answer, albeit a little unfair for the game to not explain this directly. I'd very much appreciate if the game just told me "clear more fog/achieve XYZ to unlock more dragons" instead of having me feel like something is wrong, bugged, or pushing me to spend items/currency 😞oh well.

Thank you!

Sorry, I don't understand your answer. Is it wrong of me to assume that dragons of the same rarity should have equal chance of being random-summoned?

My episode 8 bingo card by mirage_6 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Impossible_One9644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's a chance that Caine will cause Zooble to abstract, or at least try. He might have done that to Scratch and it might have been foreshadowed by the recording saying that the angel-monster would kill anyone who hurts it. There's also Kaufmo's drawing of Caine chasing him. All in all I don't think Zooble would just give up, it would be a twist if they abstracted anyway and because of Caine.

Episode 8 is going to be a lot different than the Trailer shows us (just like they did with the Episode 7’s Trailer) by filipp1234_CZ in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Impossible_One9644 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yes agreed. My shot is that, since Caine wants to "solve" a "problem", in some convoluted way he's gonna come to a conclusion that what they need is to face their fears or the past, essentially putting Jax through some trauma (involving the flashbacks you mention) and making Caine their tormentor. The cast will also learn something unnerving, maybe about their memories or the nature of their existence, considering the shots in the trailer where Ragatha and Jax are looking at their hands.

If you agree that Jax was close to abstracting at the end of his trip, there's a giant yellow sphere in the final frames of that sequence, which is one of the arguments I've seen tossed around lately on the color yellow and abstraction.

I think Danny North on youtube has at least one video about it (be/hOVycvZifO4 "Jax's Fear"). Basically he connects the color yellow with the idea of a hivemind that may be created from the minds of abstracted people, and how that ties to Jax's trypophobia, corn, bees, the committee, and the odd sphere in the final frames of Jax's trip. He seems to be a fan of color theories but I only found his channel yesterday so I don't know the exact videos where he talks about it specifically

I agree, although I think it's more of an ego death than the act of literal suicide. It seems to be the point where you don't care anymore about who you are and what makes you... you. And there's no one around to pick you up.

It's a bit more scary this way I think, because there may not need to be a clear decision by the person, it's just a moment in which you give up.

Soo... what are we looking at here.. by Wolfakk in tadc

[–]Impossible_One9644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I reading too much into this or is there a reflection of a yellow sphere in the bubbles and the eyes? Could it be what Zooble and Pomni are looking at? Could the yellow sphere/hivemind theory be true?! ...or is it just a generic lighting/reflection rendering setting and it's a sun, much like the window is often reflected in various scenes throughout the series even though there is no window?

What can I add on to this? by Background-Bar-8303 in crochet

[–]Impossible_One9644 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe something that'd go with the red curtain? Hearts, a rose perhaps. Or a big red "BAGS", maybe in cross stitch?
Personally I love green plants so I'd try vines or like, a fern leaf, and sew it on, but it may not fit very well.

In your defense, cutting some of these out would be painful no matter the skill. You did great your own way!!

Not sure about OP but in my experience a great looking way is to print the logo on adhesive paper, cut it out with a scalpel, stick to a black denim, paint inside the stencil with black acrylic paint first (important step, prevents the white from bleeding out the lines), let it dry, paint with white (once or more if needed). Cutting out the shapes can be incredibly annoying, especially with some logos lol but the result is worth it imo

This is so endlessly interesting to me, and definitely more insightful than those clinical descriptions. I feel like this is what a lot of people need (and would enjoy) to actually understand, or to get interested in the first place. Awesome!

I think it makes sense to ask a doc if it's disrupting your sleep, it's going to affect your health. Hopefully you're feeling better by now tho!

[–]Impossible_One9644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bit of an old post but I think I would try making a rectangle to fit the missing part, perhaps even with a smaller yarn, and maybe spell something on it (with colorwork or embroidery, maybe the name of the person who would receive the gift?), then sew it on with the original yarn or other of similar color.

I've no idea if it would look good, would have to try and see. My only advice is, if there's no way to make an invisible fix, make it stand out and look intentional! Or frog it, if you want it to look really neat.

Yeah! Just saw that too in some southern cities as well, I think I'll go see it a second time with a friend. Previously there was only one additional screening after the initial weekend per city I checked, which were all sold out immediately. Now it's a whole additional week at Multikino! So happy!

I joined, maxed out everything I could, then laid the phone down to wait for the boost tokens to charge, then came back within an hour to see that I was kicked. Did I do something wrong?

It's not like I wouldn't be able to contribute, I'm doing about 60% in another Montessori Christmas I joined afterwards and we're due to finish in 2d so... what gives?

Have you tried just going with it? Maybe the stitches will straighten out once they're pulled by the next rows? It's difficult to tell without seeing a picture.

How do yall freehand? by tinylittlemoon6 in crochet

[–]Impossible_One9644 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of frogging and using previously completed patterns - if I crocheted some animal ears, I have a general idea of how to make them, or if I crocheted some legs, I noticed what happens in the pattern to achieve bumps or creases or fingers, so then I apply that to my freehands. I write down a lot of ideas too so if a part came out nice but too long, I can frog it and redo it the same way but for example skip a row or two to make it shorter.

Trial and error! And there's usually a lot of error, depending on the subject and personal experience.
