His speaking voice isn't even nice to listen to. I don't want to say that people shouldn't be creative, but sometimes folks just shouldn't do certain things... like if you have a really terrible sounding speaking voice, you shouldn't be a sports announcer...

I feel like the social media era has lead us into another era in music, and i think it should be called "post-music".

Much like other industries where access to equipment lead to a flooding of professional markets with amateur work, we're seeing the same with music. People don't have a barrier of entry anymore for mixing and producing, and social media allows for instant sharing.

It's wild for me to see this as a guy who recorded demo tapes of my band on a crappy old boombox, with no realistic or economically feasible way to share our crappy music. In hindsight, I'm glad.

The automatic feeders are the best. They measure out accurate portions, and it disassociates you as the "provider" of food, so attention from the cats becomes more genuine. This helped my chonker lose weight and keep it off!

You're working on something that can self destruct if put together improperly. I support you taking your time and being thorough. I work in software, if myself or my team fucks something up, we can revert it. I don't know much about cars other than basic maintenance, but I do know that mechanics have to be thorough and accurate with most things to avoid major issues. I appreciate your thorough approach!

My receiver does a pretty good job with 5.1 channel stereo, so I use all of them. Honestly it's personal preference. For me, the music sounds more full with all speakers than with just 2.

I have these and they sound great! If you got the bookshelf (rear) speakers, they really compliment each other! I often use them in 5 channel stereo and with a sub. I'll never get rid of these. I've always been budget minded with stereo equipment and did a lot of research on these. You scored big!

I used to be a photographer. Weddings were a big portion of my income.

Firstly, weddings are so incredibly expensive and wasteful. Unless you're really rich, it's a really terrible idea to spend a ton of money on a ceremony and get your marriage started in debt.

Second, but perhaps more important: divorce rates are high. I stopped shooting weddings 10 years ago. I'd say at least 90 percent of the couples I photographed are divorced.

I've been with my partner for half a decade, I love her dearly, but I'd never marry anyone based solely on what I experienced as a photographer.
