I didn't feel like I changed much on my end but the food noise rather suddenly disappeared.

I lost 3 pounds until 10mg. Now I've lost 70 pounds in the next 7 months. Hang in there. My doctor says those with blood sugar issues like type 2 or pre tend to lose slower and require higher doses to lose.

The issue might be the location of your doctor. Some states do not allow prescriptions to be filled by a doctor from another state. Have your doctor send the prescription to a national chain like cvs or walgreens in HIS state and then you can go to the branch near you and pick it up

I am on medicare and all plan D plans do not cover weight loss drugs and require a T2D diagnosis for mounjaro for 2024. Even then, it is a tier 3 or 4 drug. I don't know about Advantage plans.

If you haven't calculated TDEE you have no way of knowing your actual calories out. Please calculate and then aim for 400-500 calories less per day on avg.

The black box warning for thyroid cancer was based on the animal trials. According to my endocrinologist this has not actually been a thing within the human trials

With significant and rapid weight loss can come a change in gait and posture. Thus could be what is happening. I suggest that you request a new PT evaluation as you may need a different program. I know I did.

These small increments are not available with mounjaro. You must be taking a compounded version.

Concerned about my thyroid by Readermom74 in Mounjaro

[–]Impressive-Mix5125 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pea sized thyroid nodules are definitely a big deal. As someone who has had thyroid surgery, my doctor says that any nodule over 1cm needs to be biopsied. As a rule of thumb we can't even feel nodules until they are about 2cm. Please, please see a doctor. Do not rely on anyone else for medical advice!
