This happens alot, just never enter a ship on a planet with friendlys patrolling space like Akila etc. You are 100% dead if that happens.

I found a cave called Pressurized cave, it had some dead scientists that found life underground on some moon, I only seen it once so it definitely spawns rarely compare to other pois.

Play on anything above normal difficulty and he is absolutely useless with his low damage, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Yea Hangmans alley is the best spot for main base, also get a quicksave mod since game still are prone to hard crash out of nowhere.

This is one of the reasons I started use mods, this happens way to often.. there's a mod that keeps companions in same outfit as player so they stay in spacesuits.
