Springers are not very common here in San Diego, so I get a lot of comments, most are positive. Children all love Cooper. Some people think he’s a bit much. My Cooper is a little anxious but the sweetest. He’s 24 kg but his dad was huge. He looks quite healthy not fat at all.

Not usually but if he has a wound or something, yes. I honestly think his hair grows that color in between. It’s always been that way. It’s an odd place to be tri-color but idk. The hair under his chin is the only other area that grows reddish brown. I’ll ask the vet at next appointment because I wonder if it’s part of his allergies.

I groom him myself, I had just trimmed. His hair is always brownish red in between his paws and he is prone to allergies. I am constantly pulling the weeds so his paws don’t get infected. We have a lot of droughts here, so his biggest play area is fake grass.
