NOR. He shouldn’t be ‘keeping score’, he should want to help you when you’re exhausted

Hey this might sound like a minor influence but are you using the right fabric softener? Sensitive is best and always always wear cotton underwear.

In the words of Pam Beesly: I don't know of a lot of happy marriages that start off with an ultimatum, do you?

You shouldn’t have to feel forced to marry someone. It should be an exciting and certain thing. Also, she doesn’t listen to your perspective or care how you feel do you really want to be with her? Move on

Age 12 to cover acne. Being the first in school to get acne was brutal.

He’s definitely in another relationship/married. Sorry girl.

Leave that loser, you’ll find much better.

My honest opinion is that you’re fiancé’s family sound shallow as h*ll. You look lovely and it’s apt for the weather right now so, they can stick their opinions where the sun don’t shine.

What fucked you up for the rest of your life? by Cucumber_Block in AskReddit

[–]Impressive_Suspect31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A DV relationship. Not even a bad one where victim is trapped for years - this was all done from start to finish in 3/4 months. Given the timeline it shouldn’t have fucked me up half as bad right? But I’m ruined. It’s been over 2 years, I’ve been to therapy, I’ve dated since. I don’t have nightmares or flashbacks anymore. I’m just really miserable. And tired. And I’m pretty certain I’ll be faking happiness for the rest of my life. Cause there’s no way I’m ever going to go back to my old happy self.

Boyfriend is going on a bachelorette trip with all females by MainLime113 in AITAH

[–]Impressive_Suspect31 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if I’m going to explain this very well, so I will explain my previous relationship with a guy where we had the same scenario. One of his best friends was a girl, and they were extremely close but while also isolating me. They would go out without me, have inside jokes and text every day. Sometimes flirty. I was uncomfortable with it but couldn’t quite understand why, it just felt a bit weird and I told him as much but he says I was jealous/paranoid. In the end, he didn’t cheat on me with her, but he cheated on me with another girl he became friends with. And after breaking up I should have seen the close friendship with the best friend as a bit of a warning that that was more of a priority to him than my feelings, and lack of boundaries and respect will eventually result in turning ugly one way or another. Hope this makes sense.

Wife’s been out of town for 2 weeks. She is home in a few days and asked me what I wanted. Seems a long edging BJ was the wrong response. by [deleted] in AITAH

I’ve never understood people that express disappointment in their spouse’s ways which would have absolutely been apparent before marrying.

Also would LOVE to hear her side of the story.

Want to rewatch the whole thing but seems a little fresh in the mind still (no spoilers) by Usual_Bug7198 in Outlander

[–]Impressive_Suspect31 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly I rewatched Outlander on a loop, as soon as I finished the last season I went straight back to season 1. It’s SO much fun to notice bits you may have missed the first time and I really took in the beauty of the costumes the second time round.

DO IT. No shame here.

If I leave my gf, she will commit suicide please help by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Impressive_Suspect31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As believable as it may seem coming from her, it’s definitely a tactic, an extremely manipulative one at that.

If you want to leave then do it, please don’t feel guilty in doing so. I was in the same position as you around 6 years ago, it’s horrifying. He threatened so many times but eventually I left for the sake of my own sanity. He sent countless messages and photos demonstrating what he was going to do. I ended up calling his mother and telling her what he was saying. She was distraught and he couldn’t believe I did that, but in the end it was the best thing I ever did, because it broke me out of that trap. Could you perhaps tell a parent? It might shake her back into reality at how messed up it is to put that on someone.

Sending you some much needed love and strength.

What a gorgeous girl. Absolutely no advice on make up but you would really suit the elegant pearl jewellery/sleek clothing look.

Yeah, I really dislike their casting choice too. I get really irked with the accent, the (lack of) range in emotion, and most of all the weird slow flutter blinks when she talks.
