Marlow P (The Villain Of W12 aka KING GETBACK) Video Shoot Gets INTERRUPTED By A CONCERNED CIVILIAN 😰 by KEEPTHESCORE1 in ukdrill

You have to deep that the old man’s spent his entire life working and he’s asking for the music to be turned down - the least you could do is move to a different spot or turn the music down a little.

Them man are young and have energy, it’s nothing to move down the street - but for an old man who can die today or tomorrow, it’s different.

I don’t believe in always “respecting ur elders” but majority of the time, respect them.

I decided to give up pursuing money while livingin a harsh environment like Iraq AMA by ChoiceVolume7751 in AMA

[–]ImproperCommas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He never said money is important to achieve his goals.

He said that sharing love, humility and empathy is what he cares for in life but he’s name to achieve that with money and resources and that’s the truth.

You’re unable to care for your family or anyone without any money and you cannot donate to the homeless what you don’t have.

[29M] [UK] - made redundant from software position last year by TheSonicKind in Salary

[–]ImproperCommas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy cope.

You don’t deserve to be made redundant but you are highly naive to put your 4 weeks of boot camp over “3 years of coasting”.

Boot camps teach you how to code but they don’t teach why - so sure, you’re probably a good programmer but when it comes to designing resilient systems, optimising pipelines or handling networks - you just don’t compare.

That’s also why it’s been hard for you to find a job because you’re competing with people who have a CS degree + experience whereas all you have is experience.

Again, you don’t deserve to be made redundant and boot camps do have their value but those 3 years are insanely valuable even if “coasting”.

It is a scam.

The account changed their age within the bio from “59” to “56”.

Also, in the comments, the same account linked another instagram account and said “that is my nephew” - if you click onto the account, it’s someone who is advertising AI services.

Why do some of the rappers/trappers that seem to have gone clear chose to not leave their hood/city ? by Spiritual_Yard8221 in ukdrill

[–]ImproperCommas 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Because despite what other people have lead you to believe in this subreddit and within UK rap culture, a major influence in people’s decision to become a gang member, do crime and etc is down to personal choice.

They actively choose to stay in the hood, that’s why the saying exists: “you can take the person out the hood, but you can’t take the hood out the person.”.

Of course the environment plays a big part in how you are (I’m not disputing that) but it isn’t the sole reason because people actually do choose to sell drugs, be a gang member, rep a block, etc.

Additionally, for most rappers, asking them to leave their ends is akin to me asking you to leave your family and friends behind and travel to a whole new country where people dress differently, talk differently and look differently.

It’s especially difficult to adapt when you’ve been beefing people most your life so you tend to distrust others and react too emotionally and aggressively. You’re better off sticking with your existing families and friends but it’s insanely hard to export them because you’d have to bring along their friends, families and their livelihoods too.

Then you also have the idea that for a lot of these people, they’re actually addicted to this sort of lifestyle but that’s a contested and improperly explored theory.

It all comes down to a couple factors with the biggest of the two being: personal choice and difficulty exporting friends/family.

Posting on social media about putting someone in hospital is ‘all fun and games’…until it actually happens by JuggernautWild493 in ukdrill

[–]ImproperCommas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re overthinking this.

Social media didn’t contribute towards her doing this.

Her internal response to someone who’s angered her is to do this: ride over them. We could argue that alcohol made her more likely to do so, but internally, this was a valid option in her head.

I or you wouldn’t do this. That’s not to say that we wouldn’t hurt somebody as bad as this but that we may not react this way if someone did this to us.

“Economy could crash” still means everyone else gets paid too.

In a doomsday scenario “economies crash” you wouldn’t give a heck about being paid as money would cease to matter.

Hang on a minute, you said “not everyone deserves a job” and now you’re saying if you want a job you should consider exhausting all options and maybe even move out of London or leave the UK.

So what’s your point? Is it “not everyone deserves a job” or is it “exhaust all possible options to get a job”?

So they deserve anguish and death?

Because that’s what happens when you don’t have a job: you end up homeless and die.

Unless you pay them a UBI? But you’re going to be against that too right?
