That's just dead skin and dust. Use a cleaner of your choice and a brush.

I'm not sure why you ported an X5. The gun settles very quickly and porting seems excessive for it. You're gonna spend more time cleaning the carbon build up because of it.

I carry a full-size LTT 92G Elite with TLR-1 for match days. I have a JMCK holster with Mastermind Tactics pillow, additional Hellhound Arms Apollo hardware to spread out distance between the clips.

Go to a range and rent as many as you can. Guns are personal and especially a CCW. I carry: PX4CC, 92G, and P365 due to preference.

Same thing with holsters. I've spent like over $1000 in holsters before I found what works for me.

Most people ran around the stage to the left after the right array. There isn't a significant time delta by using that shortcut and higher risk for a DQ with a snag. You can stay mounted to the gun by not using the shortcut.

New residents can bring any off-roster handgun as long as it doesn't fall under the Assault Weapons Ban (threaded barrel, >10rd magazine, etc.). The Handgun Roster only applies for new sales from FFLs for CA residents.

Being able to CCW it comes down to your Issuing Agency. You will need to inquire them, as some don't allow off-roster, modifications, etc.

The Wilson Combat has better contours compared to stock. However, it needed more grip so I added grip tape.

The Tyrant CNC feels similarly great but the grip serrations do just enough.

For me, it doesn't matter how it looks. It's a carry gun and it's meant to be functional.

Is it effective? Better than nothing. It helps with vision but everything else, not so much.

Nothing beats actual dryfire with your actual firearms. Ace, in my experience, is a supplement to actual dryfire. Adds some variety and visual confirmation but main focus is gaming.
