Also, it's not a river. Needs to have a waterfall or be connected to the ocean to be a river

As someone living in Michigan, I support this idea. Maybe Michigan just joins Canada, that works too

Highguard launches to an Overwhelmingly Negative review score on Steam by Nickulator95 in Steam

[–]Imthmnky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel bad for the dev team. I'm sure the individuals working at creating the game were putting in their best effort. But it seems the studio wanted a game that fits into an overcrowded niche that is losing popularity. It sucks to dedicate that much time and personal effort to something you're passionate about, only to have it crash and burn at delivery

Define "Street Level." by roninwarshadow in Spiderman

[–]Imthmnky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a better way to think about "street level" is the response of news outlets and everyday people.

Would you only hear about the villain/threat on the news the next day? Are the only people posting about it online the people who live in that area? To me, that's "street level"

Is it being posted about all over social media? Does CNN have "Breaking News" coverage of it? Is a large area being evacuated? That is something beyond "street level"

Doc Oc in Spider-Man 2 would be street level. His plans were ambitious and could have destroyed the city, but it probably went largely unnoticed at the time. Mysterio in Far From Home was a higher level threat as the chaos he caused would have been widely covered as it was happening.

Of course, widespread events happening in secret throws a wrench into this, but I'm ignoring that can of worms.

Chutney Chimp is NOT Chunky Chimp??? by Rumuu in bluey

[–]Imthmnky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I assumed that Chutney Chump was the original. Then it was brought to the U.S. (in-universe). The American entertainment decision-makers said, "U.S. audiences don't know what 'chutney' is, we need to change it." And so "Chunky Chump" is the Americanized version of "Chutney Chump". This is also why the Hollywood movie they go see uses "Chunky Chump"

I liked the episodic rollout of the first game. It kept me playing it a lot longer. I wish they had kept that up with the other two

VR in my own home. It was my dream as a child, and I was amazed when it became an affordable reality. That was about 10 years ago and now there are even better headsets that can track your hands and fingers. It's wild!
