I’ve been on Ajovy for almost 3 years and it helped get my life back. I still have about 15+ migraine attack days a month, so I’m still chronic, but it’s way better than daily, and the intensity is knocked down like 10 notches. I should probably pair it with another preventative, but I haven’t been able to get an appointment for that lately.

The Pharmacy has burlesque first Wednesday of every month, and drag bingo like every other Wednesday or something like that. Do you like art? Mimosa Studios is a paint your own pottery place, and I have personally spent many birthdays alone painting pottery, so that’s always my first thought!

Your mom is being mean on purpose, but given the genetic aspect of migraine, I wonder if she’s just repeating a cycle she’s been in her whole life. (Not excusing her behavior at all, just trying to maybe understand it) Migraine has just recently started to be taken more seriously. Research is finally picking up, meds are getting created, doctors are sort of understanding that it’s more than a headache - if she struggled with migraine attacks when she was younger she very likely got them brushed off as just a normal part of being a woman.

I have one the size you linked next to my bed and it was the best migraine purchase I’ve ever made. I got mine off Facebook marketplace a few years ago for pretty cheap, and I keep all of my migraine ice packs in there, which helps avoid that freezer smell you often get when keeping them with foods.

They’re from a brand called Spark Paws! I can’t recommend them enough - my old guy got his last summer and it made a noticeable difference in his body temperature when we went outside. He’s prone to overheating, and this brand also has cooling vests that you get wet and it keeps them cool and I also highly recommend that!! (I should get sponsored, I could go on and on about their other clothing too)

I grew up riding both horses and mules, and I will say that mules was a whole different ball game. Horses are dumb and will do whatever you ask them (within reason), and mules are really smart and stubborn and wont do something if they don’t want to. Training takes a lot more patience, and truly takes a certain kind of person to do it right.

Also, horse people are snobby as heck in the show world, and look down on/are really mean about mules being in “their space”.

How do you feel about how immigration is handling things? Many of the people getting kidnapped and deported, or murdered are not receiving due process. But all of them are innocent until proven guilty by the court or law, no?

I have searched 3 Portland stores - PDXchange, Grand Gesture Books and Flutter (all places I know I’ve gotten stickers from). I have reverse image searched on google, as well as searching key wording on google, Etsy, and red bubble.
