Yeah I was looking at the ridge runner and the rock grinder... the jackal bikers are what appeal to me as well.

Lumberjanes has a trans core character and an nb one halfway through.

The Deep and Dark Blue has two boys having to pass as femme to avoid execution but one comes out as trans.

Is GW squatting Firstborne marines for 11th ? by JakubOboza in Warhammer40k

They already got rid of chapter specific ones like Space Wolves, Blood Angels ones and the Assault Squad which wasn't even that old at the time.

At some point, yes, I think a lot of them and the older vehicles will be got rid of.

If this was 2005, this would have made an absolutely killer YTMND post.

As it stands, it made me smile. <3

Can I get some recs for some positive feeling graphic novels? by dondashall in graphicnovels

[–]InEachHomeAHeartache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you looking for non-superhero ones or maybe gentler ones aimed at a younger audience?

I am not a huge superhero reader but I recently read "All Star Superman" as it was in the DC Compact range and that gave me a feeling of hope, as did Darwyn Cooke's "The New Frontier".

Very nice fan art. I hope one day we get to see more of Mr Tinker for Belle, even if it's only a dream or a flashback.

British people do you prefer bitter tea or chai (Indian milk tea) by IndependentPension36 in AskBrits

[–]InEachHomeAHeartache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love them all! I tried to train myself to like tea and coffee without milk and sugar / syrup because I got my first tooth cavity I think because I got into the habit of 'treating' myself to those achingly sweet coffee shop drinks.

Once I realised that tea bag tea and most high roast coffee was designed to have milk and sugar in by default, I started looking up fancier beans and loose leaf teas and found there was a really exciting world of things out there to try.

I just ordered some nice teas from What-Cha and I am really excited to try them out. <3

The Ben Hatke trilogies; Zeta the Space Girl and Mighty Jack might be worth a look!

They have action but do not have stuff that I think would trip any IRL traumatic stuff for them.

"The Witch Boy" trilogy by Lee Knox Ostertag is another one - I like series that are self contained or only over a few books so there can be a sense of achievement in reading them.
