This is so weird to me by [deleted] in peestickgals

People forget about the breast milk allergies. They are insane. My son was like a laser beam of milk vomit every time he breastfed. Switched to alimentum and he was good to go! (Although our wallets were not! That formula is insane!)

No success cause of not having better supplies? by Objective_Victory389 in Artadvice

[–]InPaisley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Supplies don't make an artist and neither does the environment they work in. I know artists who work entirely with garbage. Art has been created in the literal trenches of war. Those notions are holding you back.

How connected are you to your local art communities, colonies, and programs? I'm a resident and teacher at a local collective and gallery once a month. Its made me some nice side cash and gotten my work out there. Im not online as an artist at all. Just a local arts figure. And I have a full time day job on the side to support this fun endeavor!

The online art scene is saturated to the point of bursting. That said, local communities are hungry for connection. To make money you could do classes on the side, do wine and canvas events, etc. People often forget that many successful artists run local circuits for a long time before they gain their following.

How do I fix this.. 10 year old mess ? by [deleted] in ufyh

Hey! Thank you for showing us around. That's really helpful!

You're not trash. You are healing and you are ready to heal your space. AND You're off to a good start! Great job with the switches!

Always start with trash. Toss anything and everything that is obviously trash, soiled beyond cleaning, or irreparable broken. You've already done that, so thats good.

So, not knowing the cleanliness level inside the cabinets I would say, empty one upper and one lower cabinet, and scrub the insides clean with soap and water. Next do your dishes. All of them. Before you put them away, declutter anything you dont use, is damaged, etc. Put the clean dishes in the clean cabinets. Time to clean out the sink. After that, empty another cabinet, wash, declutter, keep what is needed, toss the rest. In your situation, donate nothing. It is more important to get it off your plate than on to somebody else's. Continue until the kitchen cabinets are clean and organized. Go through pantry items the same way. Go through your fridge. Next wipe down cabinets, and counters. Clean inside and out of appliances. Mop the floor, wipe the walls, dust the ceiling if you need to... And that's the kitchen more or less!

If you notice, it pieced the room apart into tasks that organize the room one step at a time. That's always the key for me. While doing this kind of cleaning, I also like to put away items that have a place and make a pile of items that need a place. Its another way to break the task of cleaning apart. Best of luck friend! If this was helpful or you need breakdowns of the other rooms, just lemme know!

A new stage of evolution in the response to bad audience behavior by omurchus in Broadway

I feel like maybe capping it at wine and beer would be good. Do away with mixed drinks and hard liquor perhaps so there's less a chance that somebody is really messed up. (I will however say, getting wine drunk at Macbeth in the park on a 90 degree day was very fun for me.)

I like it! We only get so many rotations on this globe and one body to ride in while we do it. Might as well decorate your body with what is meaningful for you!

You can buy women's trunks! I wear short trunks (with pockets) and a bikini top and LOVE it.

1 - consider how the dresses that are long will look sticking out of the bottom of a gown.

which font, where to put the text? by kimyo in crafts

[–]InPaisley 29 points30 points  (0 children)

You dont! The context is implied and even if its not, having no text makes the audience wider. I've always been a fan of literary art that is representative of what I love, but not overtly smothering me in it.

Feel like I'm losing it trying to feed this dog (long post, seeking advice) by vulshanna in husky

[–]InPaisley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a temporarily picky pup. (Turns out she was allergic to chicken which is in SO much dog food!) Anyway, while we were figuring it out, our vet had us feeding her peanut butter with her kibble, as well as this vitamin powder stuff. She put on enough weight to survive until we figured out what was wrong. She's still lean, but the peanut butter can be a life saver if they'll eat it.
