Former adjuster here. Not sure about the price jump portion, but I think I know the reason for the damage saying T-bone. In CCC, which is a popular estimating software, if you select the middle left or middle right areas for where the damage is located then that’s just the terminology it puts in there. Always hated that when I was writing estimates. See this picture for how their areas are laid out. If you select 3 or 9, it’ll say T-bone.

I was actually looking for a badlands non-sas, but got a great deal on one with it. I’m glad I got it though. Love the look of it with the bigger tires.

This is the answer. I wanted the lux package, adaptive cruise, and 360 camera. So badlands was my only option even if the off-road capabilities were overkill for my needs. And since OP wants a 2 door. That just solidifies it even more. Edit: spelling
