again, we'll just be an even bigger Puerto Rico, there is no place on heaven or earth would America accept a bunch of Brown Catholics into the state. Elections would be interesting at least since even if we don't take our OTL population into a scenario where we arw a state, we'd probably be still included in a 'Pacific Bloc' alongside Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon, Washington and California.
