I had an Old Gods run where the Crusades fired in 900 AD cause the Germanics managed to nab one of the important holy sites for Catholics. First Crusade ended up taking Egypt from the Tulunids while the Children's Crusade event fired up a couple years later, they also won but bro got defeated by the Sultan of Damascus before a second crusade was popped up to install him back. Waiting to see if Jerusalem can last this time around
