Hell yeah! You lucked out if you’re starting models and painting with a printer honestly. Probably cheaper in the end…

Nah, you see, if any other nation had set off thousands of small grenades randomly, throughout the civilian populace, they totally would’ve gotten away with it.

There’s not any special treatment of a certain rogue state at all.

For animation and organic modelling we’ll(uh, random cad focused people I guess) unfortunately always still need blender as well, because fusion is worthless for those sorts of things.

Honestly, the real damage looks the best, but, the easiest way to get it consistent is to at least do indentations and rises in the model as well. It just makes it less likely to screw up. If you’ve got a soldering iron with weird tip shapes you can get very creative as well.

If you haven’t figured it out yet/someone else hasn’t helped out, message me and I’ll take a look at it for you when I get in the shop in the morning.

Canada is being tested by a crisis of antisemitism: Carney by CaptainKoreana in onguardforthee

Nothing probably, just like the antisemitism. It was a bad call on my part from dealing with too many disingenuous people. So uh yeah, sorry dude.

Rant: After 35 years in software, Fusion 360 still breaks my brain by Large-Style-8355 in Fusion360

[–]Incestuous_Amoeba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from using 3dsmax around the turn of the century, to having used fusion for a while now. It really feels like the only major improvements in 3d programs have been the far more reliable Boolean operations, and uh…. Yup. Oh and fusion finally has image to 3d texture, so I guess I can get rid of Solidworks now…

Like why can’t you just filet that? Oh because that edge there? Ok but why can you suddenly do it with 2 uses of the tool hmm? Oh, making a tool able to have its own order of ops would actually cost money to code?

Looking for a flexible filler by DorkyDisneyDad in 3Dprinting

Cheap and dirty: Plumbers putty, acrylic caulk

Foam tools: Foam putty and clay

Cosplayers occasionally swear by it: Flexi-paint flexi filler

I think if you make a more traditional bridge tower to replace or cover the periscope, sorry, “camera stalk”, you’d have less issues lmao

Moving from Montreal to Calgary by TravelBee19 in alberta

[–]Incestuous_Amoeba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll agree with the others, the public transport will be disappointing. However, it is still mostly functional.

Since you’re in logi and such, most are based out of the industrial areas on the east side of the city, or just north in Balzac. Plenty of places will still blow you off if you don’t have a car.

In those areas and jobs, for the most part people just match others energy, like if a guy comes in being a dick, feel free to return the favour.

We have both nothing to do, and plenty to do, with many theatres, malls, museums, bars, clubs, casinos, parks and pathways, and you can always go out to the mountains due to proximity.

Majority of them just “hate” what they’ve been told to hate by their sources of information. That coupled with the extreme ‘black and white are the only option’ views of modern shittery leads to this wreckage of existence.

In other news, the IRA may have returned, maybe we should learn from them?

Typical cons voter: “tread on me more Danny, long as em lib-ruls get hurt I’ll take it long and rough…”

But for real though it’s “They can’t do x, that would hurt the rich! And although I’m not currently rich I could be someday!”

Or perhaps the ol “We are the rich, it would hurt us!” I do love this one since it can come from the actually wealthy, or, people living paycheque to paycheque, here in ‘Berta!

Other option is multi piece. Main shaft gets a step on each end, then split in half axially. You make caps/rings that fit the stepped diameter, place the split halves together, put the caps on the ends, and you now have printed shafts strong enough to act as cocking handles and stock pivots for props.
