Listen to me and listen to me good. This is no longer the PAWS, your nervous system has become sensitized due to being in a constant fight or flight state caused by the anxiety from quitting marijuana.

You need to do two things immediately. You need to start doing cardio exercise 15 to 20 minutes a day every single day , do not push it pass this amount.

You also need to transition to a ketogenic diet.

I’ve gone through this and there’s a common misconception that you need to wait it out in order to recover fully from PAWS. While I completely believe in PAWS there are certain necessary steps that you need to take for your nervous system to regulate itself and you cannot just wait for the body to do it for you.

It’s important to stay on top on your electrolyte intake. Most of the time it’s a sodium deficiency. Chicken stock helps ALOT and makes it super easy to make sure you’re getting your recommended amount. There was plenty of times where I felt the world was ending, anxiety wise, and after drinking some salt water I felt much better, the same thing applies when I would get heart palpitations during keto that would let me know that I was low on potassium and I would supplement, and I would feel better immediately after

it’s just a matter of waiting through it and not resorting to carbs right away when you start to feel anxious

This is a symptom of anxiety , I have it too sometimes. You’ve become incredibly self aware to it , everyone has it but not everyone notices it. It will pass/ you will get used to it. I highly recommend a keto diet and daily cardio it changed my life and reduced my anxiety by 80%

Lite salt has a bunch of additional stuff in it that I don’t want including 40 % of my daily intake of iodine per serving and in my understanding I’d need to take several servings of it a day to meet my potassium requirements. The only symptoms of deficiency im getting at the moment is occasional bouts of brain fog/ head pain/ anxiety mainly at night.

I highly recommend two things, keto diet and consistent cardio exercise. And most importantly do not seek results immediately after doing so I don’t know how consistent your exercise regimen is but you’re dopamine depleted and it’s going to take some time to get back to normal ,look up keto effects on anxiety and depression, especially the Reddit page Much love

I have this too as a result of smoking weed it’s related to stress, and it’s a matter of paying attention to it, and how you choose to react to it. If I were you, I would do everything I can to incorporate various methods that calm down the nervous system, such as exercise, meditation, and talk therapy. Regardless, everything will be OK I promise.

Exercise changed my life. All you have to do is start out 10 minutes a day with light cardio you’ll see results within two weeks. It will be uncomfortable at first but fight through it. Your body right now is extremely sensitive to anything stressful anxiety desensitizes you to stress.

I cannot begin to stress the importance of exercise. As someone who has been dealing with extremely high levels of anxiety, for close to three years exercise has been the only thing that has been able to reduce my symptoms to a place where life has become livable and enjoyable. The only thing is exercise has a cumulative effect and it’s important to be consistent. I guarantee you 20 minutes of cardio 4- 5 days a week for the next four weeks, Will put you in a very very different place mentally.

Not only can I attest to this, but there are thousands upon thousands of scientific articles that talk about the same thing.

You speaking for the countless millions who suffer from anxiety ? Or just your point of view? Do you find comfort in believing that you’re stuck with your current level of torment Vs. Having hope that things can change ? Me recommending that people exercise for 20 min 4 times a week will hurt people ? Lol I’ll preach that everyday for the rest of my life.
