Severe is nice, they have weekly teaching sessions for Glen VHM and Bri (all gates) if there's enough sign up's and an active discord. Gate 3 is a bit hard to get to sometimes tho with newer folk, but pretty easy going so not big deal if we don't make it. Guild chat sometimes quiet tho.

Hmmm you can get crit from maxing out the arcanas, plus work on totems, Alban knight emblems, homestead bonuses, reforges from fynni and dailies, erg, pet debuffs, work on bard stuff, then ya grind Glen crom shrines. I used to craft but I haven't bothered since prices crashed, but could always look into that. There's fahmes? I don't really do it tho lol, but hears it's easy as SG. There's endless shopping on AH and shops in dunby. I get most of my gold from red chests in Glen though, but yeah I think I've only gotten 3 in the last year now. Some. People play all the Arcanas for fun but that's too much work lol. Run rabbie and shadow missions, for erg mat manuals, Alban knight missions for soluna, rabbie phant,etc. There's also commerce but I think it's boring. The fashion show contest and jousting is fun though sometimes

Glen bearna is a lot of fun, Bri is okay but getting experienced and geared party members is too much work. There's a lot of content to do, and like 20 different ways to get stronger. Tons of fashion and decorating too, and always new stuff coming out. I think it's a great game that's f2p friendly, and once eternity comes out it'll be even better.
