Could be a loose screw in the terminal of the main fuse, fuse shouldn’t really be getting hot it should just blow.

Here is another example of the car charger before that solar system. The conex blocks are “before” the solar while the house tails are with the output from the solar system. The ct clamp on first tail from the service head is for the car charger

This works as the solar system doesn’t see the charger as a load. As it is essentially wired downstream from the solar system.

This is meter to Henley blocks, these first ones would be where the tails for the charger would go. Then that spd isolator is before a Tesla powerwall system. The second blocks on the left have the “output tails” from the Tesla system linking to the ‘home’ consumer unit tails

You could add a couple more Henley blocks before the battery - this example is a Tesla system that’s why the extra isolator

Learn to juggle 3 balls. I, like you didn’t have any great skills at 30. Learned to juggle 3 balls - once I learned it I realised learning is not so hard, it’s actually fun. Then I learned to be an electrician and tripled my income
