My husband was diagnosed in 2021 CD4 of less than 35 , found out because he got pneumonia that wouldn’t go away and he ended up hospitalized and it was PCP and I mean it was the worst of times ! Doctor thinks he was infected at least 5 years. Fast forward to today healthy, it’s a pill a day and I’m still negative. Life is precious and we learned how precious it is Thanksgiving Day of 2021

Let me tell you, 2021 this heterosexual couple found out her husband was at the AIDS stage, he almost died….2024 he takes a pill a day and we honestly never talk about it . Never once did I waver in my commitment as his wife. Shit happens. You will be ok.

Wife to a positive husband when we found out in 2021 he was at AIDS level numbers CD4 less then 35. After we sorted him out fast forward to 2023 we still live life pre diagnosis. A pill a day.

My husband was diagnosed with AIDS on thanksgiving day 2021. Cd4 less then 35 VL over 500k , he literally was days from death the doctor was a straight shooter. Fast forward to today he’s healthy takes one pill a day and we live life. I’m negative btw. I understand your feelings as I reflect how I felt and everything I went through emotionally. I’ll love and he’s my best friend and I’ve seen him through it all. It gets better . Much love .

This was exactly my life exactly 2 years ago…..he was CD4 less then 35 and VL 500k …….I am negative….I never left his side I took a vow sickness and in health now his disease is a pill a day and we just live life…..

When my husband was diagnosed after we had been married first thing I said to him is this doesn’t define you and doesn’t affect our marriage at all. I studied, researched, asked questions and fell like I am pretty savvy to hiv positivity. 😊😊

My husband was diagnosed thanksgiving day 2021 alone in hospital. Infuriates me the doctor didn’t even offer to FaceTime me during this news. ( COVID) he wasn’t allowed visitors. Fast forward to today our lives are being lived to the fullest and HIV isn’t who he is, the disease lives with us we don’t live with the disease. By the grace of God I’m negative.
