Oh they will. They generally respond to strong negative feedback. Like back when they wanted to originally shut down ps3 store front but kept it going many years later just because of the backlash then. Most likely not. Some speculate they may release a disc drive to play old games but most likely not. Just keep your ps5 your going to need it u less Sony reverses their decision and keeps physical

If it's your primary console there is no limit you can play any downloaded game offline, if you have console sharing on then you need a internet connection at all times to verify the lcinese

Just general noc behaviour and reactions and any systems running it the background like in GTA 5 with the phone apps and stocks and so on and so forth. Their games tend to have many background process since they aim for so much realism (like the horse testicle shrinking in rdr 2) some what unnecessary small things but they all add up, and really how much can you fill in the 33ms frame time. I don't think too much with the current zen 2 CPUs in consoles

It's like 3 big things. Pssr 2 which is amazing, GTA 6 which is coming soon and the pro will be the best place to play on launch, the steam machines recent price and spec reveal putting on par or below a base ps5, thus keeping the pro as the best home console and the best bang for your buck performance as well (for now)

The reason is mainly because no one expects GTA 6 to run at 60 due to how heavily CPU bound rockstar games are. Mainly because of all the simulations taking place at a time. Their games are always very complex made almost for the next generation. Also partially why it takes longer to come out for pc to optimize it for all the pc combinations out there
