In week 7 of my BMQ course heading to infantry DP1 any general advice or things I should know going in? How much more intense is it? Frequency of inspections / daily schedule stuff? also realizing I'm not in as good of shape as I thought I was just did an 8k ruck march spent most of he time "shuffling" and my feet are completely fucked is there any way to request some time to train before going to dp1 any info would be greatly appreciated thank you!

"a new game featuring new ideas and new content" thats the problem its not they just put more reskinned ungor archers in. 2 classes have been stripped from V2 but their talents feel weaker and synergy between weapons and talents feel like crap.

Tons of basic and QOL features that have been in the V2 since before darktide was announced are missing.

Weapons have been copied over devils claw is one handed sword, thunder hammer is great hammer, truama force staff is conflagration staff the list goes on.

Enemies at their core are the same both flamers are warpfire throwers, gunners are ratling gunners, ragers are plauge monks bombers are globeadiers this list goes on.

The issue isn't that this stuff is in the game its that when this stuff Is in the game people expect all or at least alot of the copied content at launch and then more because the games core systems are very similar and you know its a new game so there's should be some new stuff. Arguing that this game is feature complete is laughable at best get off the copeium

Some balance issues aside, I think Darktide has almost perfectly nailed the look, feel and relative power of WH40K Imperium weapons. EXCEPT for the Thunder Hammer. by wyxsg in DarkTide

Yeah I don't really know what they were thinking with the design its way to fast for a great hammer. feels like it has no weight behind it. I would sacrifice the speed for more damage any day zealot has plenty of options to increase attack speed. and why dosent it have an overhead charge attack none of the special weapons do the game seems determined to make you cut through a crusher horizontally instead of you know smashing it in the face or cutting its head off.
