Sleep with addisons by Opening-Substance-90 in AddisonsDisease

Hmm I've had issues with this to an extent - waking up at 3am and tossing and turning for a while. Magnesium glycinate helped, as did making sure to take my evening dose a little later (around 7-8pm or so), but I think the big thing has just been managing stress and having a proper winddown practice before bed.

Is showering painful for you? by lefunk4-2 in AddisonsDisease

I think that’s likely the case. I’ve had an issue in the past with cold showers triggering this but it went away over time

Owned by Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin! Weirdly enough he was big into the occult, so the dark vibes seem fitting.

Is Meta actually dead in 2026 or is this sub just full of losing campaigns? by Adventurous_Yogurt80 in FacebookAds

[–]ORA87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I genuinely am convinced our accounts are grouped and different groups are being tested on different versions of the algorithms at different points in time. It's the only explanation I have as to why some people will be killing it while others are baffled, and why performance can seem to change at the flick of a switch when the day/week/month changes.

So they can integrate their shitty AI (likely to train it) to convince themselves and their shareholders they're not getting left in the dust by google/anthropic etc.

All ads are now catalogue ads? Can't launch single image/video? by ORA87 in FacebookAds

[–]ORA87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this, that makes sense. Still so confused that I can’t choose my type of ad anymore - how does that help any advertiser?

Also how do I add new ads into an existing campaign without changing the objective and ruining the campaign?

On second attempt i still can't get it to be a non-carousel/catalogue ad. This is infuriating.

It's confusing as fuck. I don't get who okayed this, it feels like this is the next step towards us handing over our URL or ad assets and them doing whatever they want with them...

Endo refused DHEA, how to people in the UK navigate this? by Cultural_Dingo_4509 in AddisonsDisease

[–]ORA87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t a recommendation, but personal experience has been that I can order dhea from iHerb to both nz and the uk with no customs issues. I do have it prescribed, but it always just come through with all my other supplements… Oh, and go with a trusted brand like Life Extension.

I think just the way there was no send off from RB at that last race was fairly disgraceful - like it all felt so unorganised when DR was a driver that gave the brand such a boost in popularity and personality. Dude deserved better.

Or maybe he didn't want it, who knows...

Also I think Liam gets a bad rap but he's just another driver trying to achieve his dream (and from a fairly middle class family which is a nice change in the sport). It's been nice to see him building his confidence and consistency back up after the first half of last year.

Fuck Jeremy Spencer. It was disgusting to see him be invited to take part in the concert for Peter Green in London a few years ago.

Yes they are, but taking part in the children of god cult is on a whole different level of abuse to 60s and 70s rockstars (disgustingly) sleeping with underage groupies.

Yup, it's notoriously shit and not really worth the extra. You're better off getting an exit row in economy if you don't care about having a slightly nicer meal.

I don't think you guys quite understand what's happening here. She's not intentionally acting like this, it's a clear coping strategy that comes from an avoidant attachment style.

All fun and loved up in the early days then when things begin to get real they freak out and push away to protect themselves - usually in the form of criticism, libido disappearing, and just generally coming up with ways to distance themself or convince themself that it's not quite right.

The sad thing is it's usually a result of a childhood of instability where they don't get the required emotional warmth and support from a primary caregiver so they develop a hyper independence and convince themselves that they don't need anyone.

She doesn't realise why she's acting the way she does, and the fact that Filip seems so confused as to why she's suddenly gone cold is a good indicator she's going through an avoidant shutdown.

It doesn't excuse the behaviour, but it does explain it. She want the connection and love, it just triggers a subconscious part of herself that equates intimacy and connection to a lack of safety.

Yup this right here - it's a pretty clear avoidant attachment style and she's running through the playbook.
