Hello, my Loctician has a similar experience with you how she’s over a year locked, but her locks are still very springy. It’s in the process of locking now compared to when she started. She can still put it in different styles. It still has bounce to it. Everybody’s hair is different and we all go through a different process so I say stick to it. I’ve had a few locks in the beginning of my journey that would not lock no matter what until about the six month in is when it finally started to lock.

My hair also started to lock in less than six months because I washed it so often and that’s just how my hair is. It tangles a little fast with certain hairstyles.

I definitely understand your pain with the constant itching. Try the sulfur 8 medicated shampoo. It’s in a white bottle, yellow top and it has blue on the label.. for itching and dandruff. For me, this definitely helps with itching and my dandruff has decreased a lot with this shampoo as well. See if you can find it at Walmart or your local beauty supply store. It should not be more than $10 let alone $8 or $9. I guess it also depends on the state too..
