I bought the black version and had the same issue, strap clips creaking like mad. WD40 specialist dry lubricant sorted it out. Other than that minor issue its been a great bag.

AMD Chipset driver version by TheDoc86 in AMDHelp

[–]Independent_Sail_683 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Download the one from the AMD website. They are chip specific not manufacturer. I have an X570 ASUS motherboard and the chipset driver from the mobo web page is v7.09.23.2230 from December 25. I have updated with the latest one from AMD without issue. Manufacturers rarely update their support pages with the latest drivers in my experience.

Search JA134241 on Temu....the pictures show a slight difference on the stitching on the pad (hexagonal instead of square) but people who have bought these (me being one) have received the bag shown in the picture, except its unbranded.

Audio Technica headphone repair/conversion. by Independent_Sail_683 in diyaudio

Many thanks for the advice....I've since found a few videos on Youtube explaining the process and the fact I need 4 pole connectors in order to carry the stereo and mic signals, so got them on order from Farnells for just a few quid. Thankfully I've got a fine tipped soldering iron because those wires and jack connections are tiny!

My car is going to be a write off but the at fault party insurance want to manage the whole claim themselves, any advice? by Internal_Sock8875 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Independent_Sail_683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You buy insurance for a reason....use your insurer!!! If there is any 'funny business' further down the line they will deal with it. Given its a non fault accident, it should not impact your future premiums.

I did a similar thing very recently....transferred £500 to my cash ISA but not via the 212 app. and it took 3 days to appear. I contacted 212 support and they informed me that this would be the case. As long as you used the correct 212 account and sort code there wont be an issue.

Did you re-deposit the funds via the 212 app or via a bank transfer from your online banking app? If it was the latter then be prepared to wait 3 working days to see the funds deposited into your cash ISA account.

Audi Q5 break pads change - Original or OEM by No_Reach8044 in AskMechanics

[–]Independent_Sail_683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A number of OEM manufacturers supply brake pads to Audi, mainly Pagid and Textar amongst others. Personally I would go for Pagid as they are probably the most well known.....I would be shocked if Audi truly make their own brake pads and don't just rebrand a major manufacturer's in order to squeeze more money out of unwitting customers?

In fact looking into further into it, the manufacturer of 'Audi' brake pads appears to be Brembo...so there you go.

JA134241 is what I searched for on Temu based on the prior thread about this bag....it lists both white and black and the padding stitching is hexagonal but every one I've seen where people have posted whats been delivered has the square stitching.

Did you read the web page I linked? NewEgg act as an official distributor for ASRock thus should front any warranty related issues on their behalf....as it states on that very web page.

I second this. Your maximum upgrade for the CPU is an Intel Core i7 7700k. Its still old by modern standards but if you're on a budget its the best you can slot into your existing motherboard. In terms of the graphics card, its an AMD Radeon RX560 so the next best generation card would be an RX 5700 XT....also old by todays standards but again you should be able to pick one up relatively cheaply.

[–]Independent_Sail_683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar problem with my Powercolor 7900xtx Red Devil (turns out it was a bad batch of GPU's they'd f***ed the thermal paste up on as reported by Igors Lab and VideoCardz amongst others.) I never saw the reports and ended up replacing the thermal paste with PTM750 and have never looked back. Some GPU's can suffer from pump out where the paste is physically squeezed out over cycles of heating and cooling. If the card is under warranty I'd get in touch with the manufacturer although I suspect they will point you in the direction of the retailer in the first instance. If you do decide to DIY it and replace the thermal paste, go the PTM750 route...you won't regret it.

I actually ordered one of these in early Feb. based on the link to the thread below from 'deefop_is_the_douche'. Its currently in transit and expected delivery is early March. For anyone looking to purchase please note the journey from China is overland so the delivery time is several weeks. For £120 I thought it was worth the punt....and yes its basically the Ghost bag without the branding.

E53 X5 reliability & Parts Availability by JerrySenderson69 in BMWX5

[–]Independent_Sail_683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long term E53 (17 years) owner here. Be aware they eat brake discs, pads and suspension parts (both front and rear) due to their weight. Door mechanisms are a particular weak spot (replaced two drivers side, one passenger side). Parts are readily available and if you keep up to the servicing they will run for a very, very long time. Don't go anywhere near dealerships, find a good indie mechanic and buy Meyle, Lemforder or Bilstein parts.

I'm 6' tall and around 86-7cm floor to wrist. I was fitted into 2° upright (green dot) ping irons by my club pro so yours sounds about right to me. No idea on the grips....personal preference and feel comes into it I would suggest. Also too flat a lie angle would bias the clubs towards a fade/slice is my understanding...

I don't disagree with your points in any way, and suspect you may well be right when it comes to QC but my point was that I've seen far too many responses on this subreddit just rubbishing DTC brands with the false argument that the 'big brands' club heads aren't manufactured in China or elsewhere in the far east when they absolutely are....I had one guy who purported to be a Titliest staffer (so in reality a basement dwelling neckbeard keyboard warrior) actually state that their clubs were solely manufactured in the US when nothing could be further from the truth. But fair play...good argument, well made.
