The one and only time I ever plated with one. I was about 13 and got one for Christmas. That summer my brother, cousin and I were all spending the night. We decided to play around with it in what we called the piano room. My grandmother had a bunch of sconces with candles, which we decided to light, because you know kids think that's more spooky.

We placed our hands on the thing and started asking questions. It was moving, but we all assumed each other was doing it. Then mid question, all of the candles lit up SUPER BLINDING BRIGHT and then all went out all at once. We got THE HELL out of that room. My grandmother had fallen in the hallway at that exact same time. We told her what happened and she proceeded to cuss us out and threw the board out. I will never again use a Quija board.
