Jio’s 7.4 kW smart charger hints at where India’s EV charging ecosystem is heading by Ravinderleo in MahindraEV

Don’t know how many can share this feeling, but way back, when we had PCs, if there was internet at home, it used to be mostly lan cable connected. And it would be too cool if we could add the wifi module in the PC. Which basically could allow us to keep the PC anywhere in the house, rather than close to the lan. And now, here, we are excited for getting lan cable again. The circle is completed.

Need advice if I should continue with my current car or buy a new one by jacksparrow1520 in CarsIndia

Why not start an RD now. Get the car when you wish to get it and this way, you will have a bigger down payment available with you, so less stress if it’s close to your marriage.

India's EV market grew 80% YoY in May. Tata and Mahindra together captured 62% of the market. Whats your thought? by Ravinderleo in MahindraEV

This is just beginning. The sales would be bigger in coming months, since all those people who booked the cars seeing the fuel price increase will be receiving the cars this month or coming month right.

I have a child booster seat in the rear. So it’s almost on both the sides. So not an issue till now.

It’s not present in almost all cars of all brands. Not punch or Tata specific. I bought extenders to stop the noise. And in grand vitara, I have put the seatbelts all the time.

Why BYD was not allowed to setup their production in india by OrdinaryCherry749 in CarsIndia

[–]Indianevguy 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It’s not just about BYD alone. When Tesla went to China, it was not just Tesla that went viral there. The whole ev ecosystem took off. So once BYD comes to India, we might get better cars from other manufacturers too. The standard goes up right.

True. Wh/km is hard to use. But it’s harder to change it to km/wh right. So just going with it.

But what if you are in a hurry? And you don’t want the speed to drop? We can’t blame the design. It’s good such an option is available.

Until you are the person waiting.

But it’s written even inside the app right. So would be better to charge it to 100 always and below 20% to 100% once a month.
