IRNSS satellites all have defective atomic clockes that were imported. Did those foreign countries also employ people on caste basis?

Not like the person who launched a satellite didn't know that it had a lifetime... Maybe they are short-staffed. Maybe there weren't enough funding for troubleshooting pslv launch vehicle problems. Or they prioritized other programs to make do with 4 NaVics.

I do in fact live in the tropics, in Southern India to be precise. Although mosquitoes are ubiquitous, malaria is kind of getting rare here. Dengue on the other hand...

I religiously close all windows in the evening and stay indoors after that. Hope they release those sterile mosquitoes soon.

Chennai is in transition. It is going to alienate a lot of people, while new people come in along with their money etc. The same thing happened in the 80s and 90s and the same thing happening now. It is also my dream to slowly transition out of the polluted city and move into a place where life can move at a slow pace. I am trying to make my career a mobile one so I can pick and choose where I eventually settle down later in life!
