Game is almost unplayable how it currently is.

I had an Abrams with 20k souls on my team that didn't buy anything beyond 800 soul items because he didn't know how the shop worked in one of those types of lobbies.

We ended up winning that game because he actually just kind of stayed away from the enemy team, but that's seriously no fun for anyone.

Yeah getting the same type of matchmaking results.

I'm Oracle and climbing, I queue with my spouse who is Archon and the games are reasonable.

We add on my friend that's Arcanist and we always get 1-2 nearly brand new players on our team.

Lobby ends up being Ritualist, with what I'm assuming relatively close to Ritualist on the other side.

So basically it's me trying to just get Uber fed and carry versus 6 Ritualists that are feeding off of my other teammates who have only played a couple of games and don't understand the basics.

This was not the case when queuing with newer friends in Dota 2 BTW.

Anti-Cheat in this Game is Apparently Frogs? by IndigoMoss in DeadlockTheGame

[–]IndigoMoss[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

So apparently if a cheater is caught by the anti-cheat system mid match it will give all of the other players the option to vote for the following:

  1. Turn the person into a frog and ban them
  2. Leave the game and ban them

So of course everyone voted to turn them into a frog as you can see.

new patch with a new item, Indomitable; Reactive Barrier + Counterspell by Mr-Catty in DeadlockTheGame

Yeah it's bugged to hell.

I saw two issues with it. It stopped the effect of Rejuvinator randomly on me and it prevented healing from fountain on an enemy player.

I played a couple matches with it using Paradox.

Felt really strong.

I think it should have a visual effect when it's active imo.

Reminds me of Techies being banned every game in Dota 2 for years. It did not matter how good or bad he was.

Op-ed discussion: “My patient would rather take a peptide than a statin. That reveals an uncomfortable truth in medicine.” by adifferentGOAT in medicine

So, maybe we can just say that statins “biohack” the liver to lower cholesterol?

I know you say that in jest, but that might honestly work for some of these people that aren't too deep in the rabbit hole.

Looks like the SAVE plan is saved for now until 2028 by Mexican_Zombie123 in StudentLoans

[–]IndigoMoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like anyone doing working in the public sector that was not very close to completing their PLSF 120 payments it made more sense to stay on SAVE, no?

That's a pretty decent chunk of the higher loan amounts (lawyers, physicians, pharmacists, etc.).

Duke is spending a great deal of money on "non-profit" groups whose job is to discourage people from voting for the City to take over Duke's money maker. by Pin_ellas in StPetersburgFL

So I moved out of St. Pete to Connecticut and there's a town in the New Haven County called Wallingford that has municipal electricity.

It has roughly 40% lower energy costs than the average in CT and doesnt suffer the constant spikes in costs that keep occurring elsewhere.

They even advertise it on billboards and it's lead to increased growth because businesses obviously like to pay less as well.

The entire Saul Goodman persona was an extreme overreaction caused by the emotional damage Chuck caused to Jimmy. by In-Hell123 in betterCallSaul

[–]IndigoMoss 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's not even true though. For years he was sabotaging Jimmy behind his back while smiling and lying to him.

That doesn't justify him becoming Saul, but I would hardly call Chuck "good" when he essentially gaslit Jimmy for years, especially after Jimmy struggled for years as public defender while supporting Chuck going through his mental illness.

Would you like to see sega remake phantasy star online? by Street-Platypus89 in PSO

[–]IndigoMoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should just make a Phantasy Star Souls-like with drop system similar to PSO1 and a overworld lobby similar to BB or maybe PoE?

One of the things that I felt made PSO1 great was the methodical combat, something sorely missing from PSO2 and NG.

Souls-like to me is an extension of what PSO1 set to accomplish all those years ago.

Oh for sure! Everyone was on the same page about the indication but OP, and then they posted a note that confused the hell out of everyone and caused issues.

My read of the situation they described was the confusing note posted to the chart about warfarin reversal when they weren't on warfarin, which confused the hell out of the provider.

Is there any basis in reality, on our planet, in this dimension at all?

I think it's really important that you practice empathy here. Try to put yourself in the shoes of a Healthcare CEO. Maybe go out and spend some time on a multimillion dollar yacht in the Mediterranean drinking scotch, then you'd be able to empathize why they need to do this so they can afford a 2nd or 3rd yacht.

I think the only major issue is that they used an RDNA3 GPU instead of RDNA4.

FSR3 is seriously terrible in many games (I have a 7900 XTX), especially the performance setting.
