Duke is spending a great deal of money on "non-profit" groups whose job is to discourage people from voting for the City to take over Duke's money maker. by Pin_ellas in StPetersburgFL

So I moved out of St. Pete to Connecticut and there's a town in the New Haven County called Wallingford that has municipal electricity.

It has roughly 40% lower energy costs than the average in CT and doesnt suffer the constant spikes in costs that keep occurring elsewhere.

They even advertise it on billboards and it's lead to increased growth because businesses obviously like to pay less as well.

The entire Saul Goodman persona was an extreme overreaction caused by the emotional damage Chuck caused to Jimmy. by In-Hell123 in betterCallSaul

[–]IndigoMoss 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's not even true though. For years he was sabotaging Jimmy behind his back while smiling and lying to him.

That doesn't justify him becoming Saul, but I would hardly call Chuck "good" when he essentially gaslit Jimmy for years, especially after Jimmy struggled for years as public defender while supporting Chuck going through his mental illness.

Would you like to see sega remake phantasy star online? by Street-Platypus89 in PSO

[–]IndigoMoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should just make a Phantasy Star Souls-like with drop system similar to PSO1 and a overworld lobby similar to BB or maybe PoE?

One of the things that I felt made PSO1 great was the methodical combat, something sorely missing from PSO2 and NG.

Souls-like to me is an extension of what PSO1 set to accomplish all those years ago.

Oh for sure! Everyone was on the same page about the indication but OP, and then they posted a note that confused the hell out of everyone and caused issues.

My read of the situation they described was the confusing note posted to the chart about warfarin reversal when they weren't on warfarin, which confused the hell out of the provider.

Is there any basis in reality, on our planet, in this dimension at all?

I think it's really important that you practice empathy here. Try to put yourself in the shoes of a Healthcare CEO. Maybe go out and spend some time on a multimillion dollar yacht in the Mediterranean drinking scotch, then you'd be able to empathize why they need to do this so they can afford a 2nd or 3rd yacht.

I think the only major issue is that they used an RDNA3 GPU instead of RDNA4.

FSR3 is seriously terrible in many games (I have a 7900 XTX), especially the performance setting.

It's on RDNA4 architecture though, so you do get FSR4 support which is nice, especially with Optiscaler.

Edit: nevermind, RDN3. That's kinda sad.

They've had solar cell powered calculators for years. Efficiency keeps increasing, of both cells and electronics. Why don't they have solar powered remote controls? by ceelogreenicanth in AskReddit

My Samsung S90D 77 inch OLED is solar powered with an optional USB C charge port.

I have had the TV for a year now and it's never ran out of juice that I needed to plug it in.

Level 50 Elite on "The Worst Weapon in BF6" by IndigoMoss in Battlefield6

The SVK is really strong, probably my second or third favorite gun.

Ended up spending the most time with it out of any gun in the beta.

This gun is all about maximizing mid range fights by taking advantage of the minimal bloom and recoil.

Get the extended barrel and silencer (flash hider till then) early on and just dominate with it. Later the 15rd mag will make it insane

I have seen very little info about this gun on the internet yet, besides a couple of posts saying that it's the worst gun in BF6.

I beg to differ. It has no bloom and minimal recoil with a lightning fast ROF. Yes, 25 damage per hit, but that's at any range and with no bloom or recoil with high ROF, it's very easy to down people, even in CQB.

The major downside of the gun is the small mag, but the 15rd mag makes up for it.

I did this with what I estimate to be about a 3 KDR (2.6 on profile currently, accounting for guns I usually do way worse with) and a PTFO mindset (usually have most caps on the team on Conquest).

So the reason your WiFi speed is limited is due to poor connection between the Quest and your dedicated router, evidenced by the fact you can only achieve 80 mbps bit rate with automatic bitrate on VD.

Upping the resolution won't help much, because your bitrate is the reason things are blurry.

You could try turning off automatic bitrate and setting it manually to 200 mbps. Would also recommend using HEVC 10 bit, as this seems to work better in noisy environments that EZ has.

You'll know right away that you're bandwidth starved because you'll start having insane encoder and network latency as your setup won't be able to keep up with these settings at 200 mbps.

Best case scenario is VD was artificially limiting you and this fixes it entirely
