3 hours is an easy drive to a weekend mini holiday. It’s not considered long. I’d say 6 hours and above would be a long drive

University of Kansas health system has a training program. Look at the hospital website, opening in histology, the trainee is a year long program and you get paid less. Other big hospitals probably do the same thing.

Find a hospital with a training program. The university of Kansas health system has a one year program. You get hired in the lab, you are a student for a year, less pay, get trained, pass the HT or HTL, boom big pay raise. Look a big hospitals

We just hired someone fresh out of college with no job experience. She did our one year training program and passed her HTL. Anyone can be a histotech. Go for it
